You mean him sitting in the corner in self pity? Quite a bit. Basically, if there was time, there would have been a serious talking to about keeping his emotions under control. It literally got someone killed.

One thing about Chiss is Family matters to them, and that someone was someone's family. If he couldn't have brought the body, then he'd make sure something was brought of hers to symbolize her.

Chiss are not robots or Vulcans; they do have emotions, they just choose not to let them rule them.

3, maybe 4. He could do so much better. He is, however Family to him, and what Family does not have squabbles?

Now that their face is leaving to go into politics, yes. Need several roles to fill and the ship has bills to pay.

What is Nudimsu's opinion on the whole Jedi vs Sith/Empire vs Republic thing?

Both of them could wipe each other out and he would be perfectly happy with the end results, so long as he was a safe distance away from the backlash.

That opinion, however, does not keep him fed and keep the ship in fully repaired. So, yeah. Gotta bite the bullet and work for whomever is paying.
