by Watcher 5
Watcher 5

Watcher 5 was bred for Imperial Intelligence part of a breeding and genetic alteration program to produce humans with superior cognitive functions he was the first generation of this process and is a great if troubling success. Known for utilizing a great degree of discretion, he was pulled from Cipher status for going off-script one too many times. His track record of success is nearly flawless but too much deviation was troubling for the powers that be.

His cognitive functions serve him better as a Watcher in the field and he is assigned to Nar Shaddaa to oversee operations in the sector. Fluent in several languages, trained in all forms of small arms and hand to hand combat, and with a near photographic memory he can run the operation nearly by himself.

Yet he tends to pick and choose what operations he actually engages in. He sees people as mere assets and tends to be very impersonal referring to people by merely rank or their utility to him.

Agent Wren Yuris

An experienced agent going on ten years of service with the SIS, Wren is good at what she does and what she does is not terribly nice. An affable and pleasant personality she is a skilled marksman and the daughter of an ex-Jedi. Her father retired from the Order to marry her mother and they live happily on Coruscant.

She never showed the gift for the Force and joined the Republic military before she was recruited for the SIS. She is an excellent field agent though she does tend to get too attached to her field assets and sometimes takes risks to try and lessen casualties something that has gotten her in trouble from time to time but she is good at what she does. She is one of the top agents stationed at Nar Shaddaa and her cover is that of Technical Expert for the front company run by the SIS.

Darth Xevious

by Darth Xevious
Darth Xevious

A dark lord of the Sith, Xevious killed his master decades ago. Many joke that he ate his master, given his girth and prodigious appetite. Despite his size he is a talented lightsaber fighter, though his skills are more in explorations of the dark side of the Force. He has spent much of his time studying the many lesser species of the galaxy and there are few with his first hand experience of disparate alien races.

Head of the Imperial delegation, the work of finding peace with the Republic falls to his shoulders; although fairly traditional in his practices he does see that peace is a much better long term solution than constant war.

Xevious is rarely without his slaves and retinue of loyal Sith apprentices who struggle for his favor. He tends to be dismissive of other Sith that do not serve him directly and tends to see daggers in the shadows, and considering his position the daggers are there even if no one can see them.

Dango the Hutt

by Dango the Hutt
Dango the Hutt

Dango the Hutt is a crime boss on Nar Shaddaa and operates out of Club Vertigo, she owns the compounds that the Imperial and Republic are leasing and several holdings all across Nar Shadda. She does not get along well with Nem’ro the Hutt in Jiguuna but she does not have to deal with him all that often.

Dango is brutal and tends to handle any challenges to her authority swiftly and with violence. She routinely utilizes Mandalorians to bolster her own security forces. Greedy but not overly so, she always looks at the bottom line when making decisions for her criminal organization and rarely meets in person with her underlings.

Balos Tyl

Balos Tyl

A young Jedi Knight in service to the Republic, Balos is an orphan of war found when young in the Outer Rim he was brought to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and trained in the ways of the force. His world was ravaged by civil war, taking his parents and immediate family. It has colored his perception of the world ever since.

Not violent by nature he is aggressive and quick to utilize his skills for the defense of others over diplomacy. It has earned him a reputation of being a bit of a hot head and rabble rouser within the Jedi and he is one of the voices within the Order that wholly supports eradicating the Sith to bring peace to the galaxy.

In his eyes there can be no peace with the Empire as long as the Sith order remain in power and he sees this peace accord as a mistake.

Cipher-3

by Cipher-3
Cipher-3

Information on Cipher-3 is highly classified; any mention of him in Imperial records is heavily redacted as standard for any Imperial Intelligence asset of his rank. A versatile individual, Cipher-3, is often deployed to volatile hotspots to destabilize governments or provide vital intelligence in remote locations.

Charming, focused, and highly dedicated to the Empire he is a deadly asset in service to the Empire. Cipher-3 works well with Watcher 5, mainly by staying out of his way. He works best alone but is adaptable and very god with identifying a need and fulfilling it; he tends to be proactive instead of reactive and is often a few steps ahead of his targets.

Cipher-3 has a preference for sophistication and class in his own time but is a chameleon at all others.

Satele Shan

Satele Shan

War Hero, example of Jedi selflessness, and a woman with secrets; this is Satele Shan of the Jedi, head of the Jedi assigned to aiding the peace accord on behalf of the Republic. Satele is confident and dedicated to finding a peaceful resolution to the conflict.

She is level headed and reliable and well liked by the Republic military, yet she can be critical of the military and their over reliance on violence and dubious tactics. She walks a fine line and is not above turning a blind eye for the greater good, but never compromises her ideals or the ideals of the Jedi.

Satele believes in redemption, and hopes that the conflict can be ended with minimal loss of life. Thus far that hope is being strained by the atrocities of the Empire and to a lesser extent the Republic as well.

Corso Fett

Corso Fett

Approaching his mid-forties, Corso Fett is a veteran of many conflicts. Born on Mandalore he was adopted into the Fett clan and raised all across the Outer Rim, moving from battlefield to battlefield in service to private and government interests. He has seen many of his kin die for fruitless causes and would like to see more for the Mandalorian people.

They were great once and believes they can be again. In the last few years he has been building a coalition of scattered clans and companies and has amassed some notoriety as an effective leader and warrior. He leads from the front and his body has the scars and injuries to prove it, but he never quits. Mandalorians see him as a hero, others see him as a despot and war monger who wants to bring back the Mandalorian crusades of the past and plunge the galaxy into more chaos.

Only time will tell which path he takes as he continues to recruit Mandalorians to his cause.

Colonel Elin Garza

by Colonel Elin Garza
Colonel Elin Garza

Decorated soldier of many campaigns and operations, public and classified, Elin Garza is the ideal trooper. A woman dedicated to her work with a single minded dogged determination to see every mission through to the end no matter the cost. She is a hard woman, with a very militant outlook on life. She sees the Empire as corrupt and the only way forward is to destroy it by any means necessary.

There can be no peace in her mind but she is also a dutiful soldier and will publicly never go against the lawful orders of the Republic Armed Services. She prefers facing her enemies in the field and her current assignment as the military adviser to the Republic delegation was not her first choice but it does put her in a unique position to mount operations to cripple Imperial operations in the Y’toub system.

She does not have a high opinion of the Jedi, feeling often rightly, that they often complicate military operations more so than aid in their success. She does not hide this disdain.

Senator Herresh Seir'oto

Senator Herresh Seir'oto

Herresh Seir’oto is the lead Senator in charge of negotiations on Nar Shaddaa. He represented his homeworld, Dac, alongside the Chancellor Berooken before the latter's election. He is well-known for being a dependable, hardworking, and compassionate; he has maintained a healthy relationship with the Quarren that he has sworn to represent. Outside of the Jedi, he is likely the most pure soul on Nar Shaddaa.

But he would not be sent to the Hutt Cartels if he was unfamiliar with the criminal underworld. His willingness to work with it should not be mistaken for corruption, however. What he does is genuinely for the Republic, not his own self-interest.

Thy Yulani

Thy Yulani

Coming back from the dead, so to speak, has been an interesting experience for Thy Yulani. She is about as old as Satele and looks less than half her age, having been frozen in Carbonite for a few decades on Korriban, long story. She returned to action and has been operating in Hutt space in an unofficial capacity as she wasn’t sure how the Jedi council would handle her resurrection.

Having been fully reinstated after a lengthy evaluation and some awkward questions Thy is ready to fight the good fight for the right reasons. She believes the war can be ended without everyone dying and she is an idealist with a slight mischievous spunky streak. She enjoys challenging herself and has a knack or curse for ending up in crazy situations even by Jedi Knight standards; she has a close if somewhat awkward relationship with Satele, again a long story.

She keeps a keepsake of a selfie with some Sith as a reminder of happier times, again a long story.

Anhel Rolm

Anhel Rolm

Anhel’s mother ascended to the position of Grand Moff after the predecessor’s unfortunate demise. This young man played his part in the condemnation of Moff Serasai, giving testimony against the man, but he is clearly not the mastermind. Though he came to Nar Shaddaa for a ‘vacation,’ the fact is that he is building up rapport for Darth Xevious’ delegation. His duty is to schmooze the big players in the Upper Levels. Such a task is easy with a permanent invitation to the exclusive Club Vertica.

Evangeline Ulter

Evangeline Ulter

In terms of criminal undertakings, Evangeline focuses on management of goods trafficked by the Cartels. She is the one who helps settle any Hutt matters that are on the more legal side of things, such as a contract with another Cartel Leader or with a business. The recent war has boosted profits, so much so that she is still willing to deal with the Republic despite the risks.

Though she is known for her "no-nonsense" demeanor in her political dealings, she is still often seen in the stands of Huttball games in her own private booth.

Thaya Kess

Thaya Kess

The Nova Devils are a pretty notorious gang of pirates in the sector and operate out of the space station on the edge of the Y’toub system called Seven Devils. The station is an open secret and the Hutts tolerate the pirates because Thaya Kess, their leader gives them a cut of her spoils. In return they let her know about merchants and travelers who have not paid adequate dues to pillage and steal from, it’s a good arrangement thus far.

Thaya has been in charge for about six years, her predecessor died in a duel and she has brought the pirates much wealth and power. Some grumbled when they gave up the slave trade but the money is flowing… currently her focus is on tracking down a wrecked ship called the Valus Horizon, a Hutt treasure ship that was lost and is said to have a substantial amount of wealth.

Aris N'ventas

Aris N'ventas

Before coming to the Y'Toub System, Aris was a master at industrial espionage. He fed insider information on companies such as Corellia StarDrive to the Hutts. His most fabled work was stealing the plans of a new line of prototype starfighters that the Galactic Republic hoped to utilize against the Sith Empire.

With his cover blown, he came to Nar Shaddaa for a safe haven and a place to spend his well-earned cash. He is still called upon for his ability to slice into systems and to teach those with potential to follow in his footsteps. He does so with reluctance, claiming that it is a waste of time, but those who know him well are quick to state that he was never one to turn down potential profits.
