Nas’alrei’aro (Salreia)

Nas’alrei’aro, or Salreia, is one of the top agents for Chiss interests in Hutt Space. She still reports directly to Darth Xevious, but she has some authority to act on her own accord. Even with that authority she is not foolish enough to circumvent him unless in the most dire circumstances. And like many other delegates sent to Nar Shaddaa, she is acclimated to dealing with scum and villainy.

She can often be found in the company of Anhel Rolm in the upper districts of the moon.

Lyshea Mersl

Lyshea is a Miruluka who has recently earned the post of Jedi Master after her padawan ascended to knighthood. However, she has taken another padawan, a Falleen by the name of Zuraa. This master is known for her utmost patience, to a fault. She is even compelled to seek to redeem any Dark Side individual, even a Sith. If she believes she has the upper hand, she will often opt to not kill her opponent. It would take a complete monster, sensed through the Force, for her to decide to slay them.

Her reasons for being in the system are not her own. Her own padawan, due to her relationship with the senator, has dragged her over to the peace talks. Still, she sees this as a sign of another trial preordained by the Force. If a young Jedi can resist the seeping corruption of the Hutt Cartels then surely she is ready to be knighted.

Serani Vil

Daughter of Darth Xevious, a new graduate of the Korriban Academy alongside her twin brother, she is an inquisitive soul. Thoughtful and smart, she prefers to understand than to unsheathe her lightsaber. Quiet and analytical, she is favored by many as a prodigy of the Force, though her main gifts lie in study and scholarship. Young and a little naive, probably, she has much to learn and being the child of a Dark Council member means she has many eyes on her even if she would rather just fade into the background.

She hopes to assist the peace talks, but she isn't sure what she can do as a fresh Sith.

Fildon Vil

Younger by four seconds, Fildon is all fire and cool rage. Always leaping headlong into challenges and any he could not conquer alone he could simply rely on his name and father to see things go his way. Close to his sister, he is quick to anger when he feels she is be threatened. A man of great passions, he hates the Republic and enjoys causing them trouble at every turn. He is brash and handsome and he always keeps his eye out for a pretty yet manly face.

He considers himself everything a Sith should be.

Zuraa

To think her weak due to her status as a padawan would be a grave mistake. Her lack of rank is due to her struggle to adopt the Jedi Code. She believes that none other than the Jedi have the ability to make the galaxy right. Combined with her familial ties to Black Sun, Zuraa is a pariah among the Jedi Order. However, due to her sway over numerous Republic senators, she is able to still leave the Core Worlds to help with the war effort.

Her arrival at Nar Shadaa was based on personal recommendation from Senator Valri and Senator Seir'oto. She aims to see the Hutts favor the Republic and only the Republic. It is her belief that they will only respect a like-minded individual, one who has experience with dealing with criminal elements.

O’nera Aeser

O'nera is a recently appointed Jedi Knight who previously learned under Lyshea Mersl. Unlike her mentor, O’nera does not approve of Zuraa’s inclusion in the order. She believes that there is no place for a manipulator among the Jedi. In addition, in combat she does not hesitate to slice down her enemies. She operates under the belief that an evil vanquished immediately is better than allowing the possibility of it causing more destruction.

She certainly aligns herself in the same school of thought as Balos Tyl. Unlike him, she is able to keep her head out of trouble and only attacks with reasonable provocation. However, her patience should not be mistaken as mercy.

Thera Ordo

Thera is the exact opposite of what one expect from a Mandalorian. She is never one for a fair fight and she is very rarely boisterous. To expect her meekness to be due to an unwillingness to fight, however, would be a foolish mistake. Once someone looks past her doting expression they can see she is still armed to the teeth. She is simply a woman willing to play weak in order to be underestimated.

Many would be offended to still call her a Mandalorian and a member of Clan Ordo. However, with her connection to the Hutts, no one has made a proper move to oust her from the ranks. After all, nobody wants to mess with a Hutt asset who also deals out the lucrative contracts. In terms of Corso Fett's rise to power, her current standing is unknown.

Vera Ordo

This Mandalorian is the younger sister of Thera despite her gruffer appearance. Their relationship is complicated; Vera thinks that her elder sister has betrayed Clan Ordo by becoming so deep in the Hutts' pockets. However, she also remembers a time when Thera fought with honor and valor, a point that is arguably false in itself. At the very least, Thera still looks upon her sibling favorably.

Vera prefers gunslinging, though with a suppressed slugthrower pistol instead of a loud blaster. Still, she keeps one on hand in case of emergencies. Grenades and gadgets, along with a trusty knife, complete her arsenal. Such tactics were never the pinnacle of honorable combat. Thera promoted taught her everything she knows, with the primary lesson being that this just evens the odds when sneaking into enemy compounds.

Malto Brin

Commander Brin is one of the heads of security on Nar Shaddaa. He is in charge of keeping Republic and Empire liaisons in line and it is clear that he treats such a duty seriously. Perhaps too seriously. He expects any outsiders to follow his directives and he is not afraid to abuse his position to get what he wants.

Many know that he aspires to join the Mandalorians. He has a warrior’s skill set but not the resume nor push for it.

Kidaja The Hutt

Kidaja the Hutt is an underboss for Dango the Hutt and is a schemer that wants to move up in the world. Cowardly by nature he vents his cowardice into bullying others and extracting as much money for himself as he can muster. He has a solid head for numbers and can always sniff out a shady deal. If Dango needs something handled she charges Kidaja to fix it.

Ryssa Lim

Ryssa Lim is a Devaronian that serves the Exchange as a crime boss, she operates in the lower districts and runs drugs, slaves, whatever she can get her hands on. She runs protection rackets and makes sure the Hutts get their cut which allows her to run the lower districts with little impunity. They get their money and she keeps her little empire. Something affects the Exchange, she is the one fix it with violence.

Ras Urdo

Ras Urdo works for the Black Sun, a cybernetically enhanced human, he used to be a solider and then bounty hunter and now is a major boss for the Black Sun. Violent but controlled, he sticks to the Upper districts and makes sure to keep the Hutts off his back by paying them their cut. He makes a good business in slave trading and spice, and weapons on the side. Business is good.

Orar Varad

Orar is an up and coming mercenary of Clan Varad though many may doubt his efficacy. His Clan, one known for its bloodlust, took on a losing contract a year ago against a Galactic Republic compound. He was the sole survivor of the raiding team but has since gone about recovering his name.

He is quick to remind people that he wasn't in charge of the operation and that it was his skill, not lack of it, that saw him through the day. He battles among the front lines, sings the songs of his people, and carries himself with an arrogance of one who believes he is among the best of warriors. What is most important is that it is clear that one day he hopes to have his vengeance against the Republic.

Fes A'vuto

Fes is a Jedi Shadow dedicated to eliminating enemies of the Republic whom he deems too dangerous to leave alive. Due to his line of work, Fes has become among the more jaded Jedi that have surfaced due to the long-standing Great Galactic War. He is starting to raise some amount of concern; even the optimists among the Jedi are starting to worry about his path.

Still, it cannot be argued that he does not bring results. He is an enigma when he so desires and can take out a threat by cutting off the head.

Garrick Lorne

Garrick is physically imposing for a Jedi Master, bested in size only by the likes of Wookiees and Trandoshans. He is said to have been present at the first contact over Korriban and has fought against the Sith ever since. As a consequence, he has sustained numerous injuries and does not remove his mask or armor even in the presence of the Jedi Council.

His experience and demeanor has left him a poor leader outside of the battlefield. This is exacerbated by the fact that he has never successfully trained a padawan; his ascension to Master was based on pure military victory. However, despite concerns, he has no intention on allowing the peace accords to fall apart. To him, the Jedi are peacekeepers, and the blood he has spilled has all been for this cause.

Kyr'ad Kelborn

Anyone fluent in Mando'a would find the man's name ("corpse") to be strange. In response to inquiry, he would tell the account of how, as an adolescent, he was slated for an early grave due to perceived incompetence. He proved them wrong by rising through the ranks until he became head of Clan Kelborn. Nowadays the name may hold more bearing than he would like to admit. His age and his sustained injuries have left him a shallow reminder of his glory days. However, he still offers experience and wisdom to anyone who would hear him out.

Though he has stated he will make no move against Corso Fett, he has advised the aspirant Mandalore to not forget what drove the Clans apart to begin with. The fact that he has not disavowed the idea of any Crusade occurring has led to much speculation on his loyalties.

Lord Haydriss, born Haydriss Rolm, is a Sith Lord under the command of Darth Malgus. The two get along on many matters, including a distaste for Imperial infighting, something that had slain her previous master. It is for this reason she has decided to leave behind her family name and stay away from politics.

Many have concluded that she will not reach any grand achievements in her lifetime. She has shown on numerous occasions that she will not take opportunities to elevate her position or seize more power. Some may see this as genuine complacency, others may see this as a ploy.

Devi Linwell

This Nautolan woman deals in the production recreational drugs, combat stimulants, and sometimes even poisons. After all, a proper dose for a Wookie could kill a Jawa, let alone a human. Since she's actually involved in the creation process, she does enjoy talking to others knowledgeable in the medical field.

Though she works for the Exchange, she maintains a healthy relationship with the Hutt Cartels and Black Sun. She pays her dues on Nar Shaddaa and tends to hire freelance smugglers rather than keeping any on retainer.

The Jaw of Oblivion

Szar'tek

Szar'tek is the captain of the slaver group known as the Jaw of Oblivion. They are a freelance group, selling to the Hutts and anyone else willing to do business. He comes off much like his fellow Trandoshan; he is brutal and relentless when provoked. However, he possesses a certain cunning behind his bravado.

Much faith is placed into his close friend and quartermaster, Davian. To a lesser extent, this trust extends to the rest of his crew.

Davian Crosal

Davian is the driving force behind the Jaw of Oblivion's slaving operation. He greases the wheels whenever his Captain’s brute force will not do the trick, which is especially useful when selling slaves. However, that is not to say he is not completely loyal to Szar’tek. The two of them are close friends who would put their lives on the line for one another.

Their relationship started back when Crosal first joined the crew. The human easily became friends with the Trandoshan and many others. However, even with the abhorrent act of slavery he saw a certain line needed to be drawn: children. Together with a good portion of the crew, the duo staged a mutiny against Captain Neim and have since commanded the Jaw of Oblivion in a relatively more "moral" manner.

Saveen Thol

The good doctor is not licensed at all for medical duties; she is an animal biology researcher, not a medical professional. Her position as such on the Jaw of Oblivion began when she sought passage from anyone willing to smuggle her. During her travels, the slaver group underwent a mutiny. Szar’tek, in his rage, demanded that she patch up his crew during and after the struggle despite her protests.

Since then, she has stayed with the crew in fear of asking to leave. A small consolation is that she knows that the crew will stick their necks out for her. On that, she is unsure if it is out of self-preservation or camaraderie.

Vatou

Vatou is an ex-padawan of Master Garrick Lorne with no aptitude towards fighting. After he failed to achieve knighthood, the selkath decided to run an orphanage due to the war's increasing demands. He has proven to be adept at both administrative work and raising the kids under his care.

He received a message from the Jaw of Oblivion not long after their mutiny. The deal they concluded on was a routine meetup on Nar Shaddaa where the slaver crew could hand off the children to him. In return, all he must do is keep secrecy. However, Vatou is not a man of subtlety. Though he has tried to cover his trail, after a few years the pattern starts to reveal itself to anyone who cares enough to investigate the headmaster of an orphanage.

Chax Miari

Many people on Nar Shaddaa require a bit of cleanup after they commit certain crimes, such as the elimination of rivals or a drunken escapade with one too many deaths. Chax charges a premium for getting in the way of what passes for ‘justice’ among criminals. At times, he can even be arranged to frame someone else. Such an act costs even more credits and requires some prep work.

Lord Ralnorrei

Lord Ralnorrei started at the Korriban Academy as a mere slave of little merit. She was taken in by a Lord of little influence after barely passing through the trials. However, it only took her a couple months before she usurped her master and took on the title of Lord for herself. Her superiors have had a mixed reaction, from abject disdain, to ambivalence, and even fear for a few. For the time being, she has shown complete deference to those who outrank her.

As for her trip to Nar Shaddaa, it is clear she is looking for some way to increase her power. She has already enlisted the help of her close friend, Lord Haydriss, but it appears that she is looking for even more aid.

Zios Thran

Zios is an arms dealer working for the Exchange. However, like others on the smuggler moon, he pays his dues to the Hutts; a small price to pay when his potential buyers expands heavily. He sells to both sides of the war indiscriminately and to anyone else who is in need of weapons.

His major flaw is his curiosity. He wants to test every new type of weapon he can gets his hands on, a callback to his earlier days as a mercenary. This does lend his products a bit of authenticity though his eccentricities are not always viewed favorably.

Jal Nav'loso

This Devaronian is a prominent information broker working under the Hutts. He knows better than to sell any information on his primary employers. However, selling dirty little secrets on the rest of the population is fair game. Sometimes he is known for giving away such information for "free" out of the "kindness in his heart."

Due to the nature of his business, he is known for being incredibly paranoid, with his hands always ready to draw his blasters. He refuses to take anything as fact until he investigates it himself.

Matthis Norsoa

Matthias is an agent handler for the Republic Strategic Information Service. He is responsible for making the tough calls while the field operatives carry out such actions. In this, he views it as an effective separation; the operatives can feel more at ease knowing that their actions were not their choice.

However, this dissociation does not always follow through in practice. There have been several instances where information will be leaked out, exposing the heinous actions of the agents under his command. It is those agents who are condemned for such actions in the courts. And while that could also be considered an extension of their duties, it should come as no surprise that he has earned some notoriety.

Lord Valar

A true sith enforcer of Darth Xevious, he goes where his master goes and is never far to lend a helping lightsaber. Dedicated to his master beyond even normal Sith standards, Valar is handsome and well liked and could probably make a bid to replace his master in time if he had such an inclination but he does not. He focuses on perfecting his fighting style with utilizes a single lightsaber and no wasted movements. He is a dangerous close combatant and commands a ship, the Vindus Alraki. He is first among the apprentices of Darth Xevious.
