Nar Shaddaa

Sylvain followed the directions on his holopad to the location given to him by Shaisha for the properties owned by his mother's shell company. Hands on espionage was not necessarily his expertise, but the mission he was on was more reconnaissance than anything else.

His mask in place, he approached the coordinates and began looking around for whatever may be of interest about the building... or potentially a way in without being noticed.

Hala followed along side, hands clasped politely behind her as they walked. She was still in her dress jacket from earlier in the day, though she had seemingly reclaimed the rest of her kit after returning from the day's excursion down the well.

"This appears to be the location." He said to Hala. "Let's take a look around."

Hala nodded and pulled out her datapad. She turned on a microphone for audio recording, then began casually circling the area to make out what she might.

OOC: Skullduggery at Hard with a setback to find an unobtrusive entrance for the financial firm, Zerosi Prime Financial.

Hala walked around to what she guessed would either be a rear door or the side entrance to a loading dock... She wasn't quite sure, but it at least budged when she applied pressure. She slipped into the threshold, then leaned in and cracked it wide enough for entry.

The interior is darkly lit with several delivery boxes and office supplies in a large storage room. There is a single door leading out of this room.

OOC: Threats does a thing.

Sylvain motions for them to head toward the door leading further in. When they get there he tilts his head to listen for anything on the other side.

There are people inside having a discussion about work, not wanting to go home to the kids... normal stuff. Probably.

Slyvain begins to look around for anything else of possible interest in the room.

It looks like a pretty normal office space with space age cubicles and offices for middle management and still plenty of staff on the premises.

Hala looked at Syl with a questioning glance before tapping a quick message into her pad and flashing it to him.

What are we doing here? Objective?

After getting a brief run down of the situation from Syl, she leaned back around the corner in the hopes that she could spot something or that the situation had at least gotten more helpful....

A woman passes by the door that Sylvain would recognize. She speaks with one of the employees, sounds like a financial officer and they discuss mundane business things before she excuses herself. She leaves down the hall to another office.

Sylvain can feel her presence and even more significant he knows she knows he is there.

Sylvain turns to Hala and whispers, "I believe I will need to speak to that woman... I'm not sure how you can help me. She's an acquaintance of mine and if she is the target of this investigation I will need to talk to her privately to ascertain what is the purpose we have been sent to check up on this warehouse."

"If you wish to follow her now, I can watch and wait," offered the colonel.

"Or we can identify who she is and you can make an appointment under false pretenses tomorrow."

"I know her well... and she knows I'm here."

He paused, "Keep an eye out."

Hala nodded and moved into a darker corner which still let her see down the hallway through the door, albeit at a slightly narrower angle.

Sylvain followed where his mother had gone and continued walking until he met her or whatever else was in his way...

"Good evening, son... your friend hiding away in case I can't find her? My senses are far to keen to miss her, but she can play at spy if she wishes. Got into a fight?" she says entering an empty office.

"You've drawn the attention of Imperial Intelligence mother... Friend is a part of that crew. Figured it would be better to talk in private." He was still nursing some wounds.

"Some friends of yours cross my way?" He asked.

"Everything is moving as it should, why does Imperial Intelligence care about my actions?" she asks calmly.

"Because Baras' reach is long... even from beyond the grave." He replied.

"I spoke with a Jedi who appears to be aware of you and your aims... perhaps this is why Imperial Intelligence would be concerned?"
