Nar Shaddaa is a seedy place, and although the Hutts do what they can to keep the upper levels respectable the lower levels better represent the bulk of the smuggler's moon. The Red Light District is more of what people think of when they consider Nar Shaddaa, dirty, packed with people, and rampant crime. Gangs roam the narrow alleys and streets and every illicit activity one can think of can be engaged here. There is no shortage of action in this sprawling area.

Solmillo's Cantina is something of a oddity in the Red light district, a bit more classy then you might expect, the Proprietor Solmillo Bribasa might of opened it in Uptown, if he could of afforded the rent. Consisting of two stories, the lower level includes a bar, and stage where live musicians are known to play. The music of choice is usually Jizz, but occasionally other types can be found here. Seating is open, though there are a small amount of private booths available for reservation.

The second story consists of a small gambling house, though nowhere near the scale of Fancy's it still does a brisk business, the dealers are known to cheat, but in this part of the city, such is to be expected, and Solmillo does a good job of soothing over any hurt feelings, usually with a few free drinks. Fighting is discouraged on both levels, but it does happen. Luckily a few brutes from the Black Sun are often nearby to take care of such matters. Old ties to the gang and hefty protection fee's see Solimillo's well protected.

Sub-Location: Wonderland Studio

Located in the Neon Wonderland section of the Red Lights District, this place stands out for two primary reasons. First and foremost, the skies above it are uncluttered with buildings and traffic just enough to give the antenna stuck on the roof a good enough signal to reach receivers in most places around the district and a bit beyond. The aerial was established by a melomaniac proprietor of the place, a Duros by the name Moldo. He's been a collector for quite a time, he has millions of hours of songs in his possession, including the old jukebox material unearthed recently on Nar Shaddaa. His playlists are quality stuff, and are played without commentary, so many bars just tune in for a small subscription fee and let their clients enjoy it. Sometimes, Moldo gives a chance to fellow melomaniacs and off artists to take a part of the bandwidth for a musical program recorded or broadcast on air in a small studio on the second floor but this never lasts longer than a week or two. He likes variety too much.

The second reason is that the cafe on the first floor is relatively not seedy. Incidents happen, but Moldo can afford paying for quality protection to keep his little melodical utopia going. Whatever Moldo's additional source of income, it's the best place around for a quiet, cultured conversation or a private time with your datapad work over a cup of good vine-coffee from some world.
