With the day at an end Kristal returned to her safehouse, checking in with her team and pulling Weaver aside for a moment. Having a quick check up before bed never hurt after all. There was plenty to discuss about earlier today but Kristal wanted to be prepared mentally for it, which required her body to be sound.
Day 2, Early Night | Day's End: Medicine, Weaver, Critical Injury Easy:
1eP+1eA+1eD 2 successes, 1 threat, 1 Triumph

(Heal 1 Critical Injury, Triumph for another? That is... of course, if she somehow receives another. Wouldn't have altered the roll.)

Weaver says, "My lord, how may I be of service."

"If you would, Weaver, I got into a bit of a mess. I require you attention of a Medical nature," she says, moving to an appropriate location. "But I do not wish to waste time. When we returned were you able to recover anything of use from the data chit?"

"Biggs and Wedge are still trying to make sense of it, Bur is actually helping," she says as she works to help the Sith.

"I wonder if that is a devotion toward getting what he wants or an earnest effort on his part," she commented, thought aloud.

"Well what do you think?" Weaver asks as she does some minor stitching.
"He isn't military but, he does seem effective."

"Effective certainly," Kristal continues, pausing only briefly to force herself into the mindset where she can shrug off the annoyance or pain of the stitching process. "But I am not certain on where his heart yet lies. When he had the chance to flee he listened to reason but I can not be sure he merely wished to avoid a battle with a Sith if he could manage it."
"What of you Weaver, what is your read on the man? Beyond his effectiveness."

"He's a criminal and is looking out only for himself. I don't trust him. With that said, I wouldn't kick him out bed," she offers as her honest assessment.
"He is unpredictable though, that could be useful or a terrible liability."

"An accurate assessment of him currently, I find," Kristal agrees. "I cannot help but wonder if it is possible for a man like that to change. For him to find a sense of duty."

"I don't think people change, my lord. Not really. But I am not an optimist," she says finishing her work.
"He just does not seem the soldier type."

"No," she agrees, but also, "but I cannot help but wish to allow him the chance to prove me wrong."

"It cannot hurt me to allow him the chance, if he falters and attempts to work against me I can stop or withstand him, and if he does not? Perhaps he might do some good before his time is through," she says, or perhaps thinks.
"I sound far too optimistic, do I not?" she looked to Weaver as she asked. "To even think for a moment that there is a chance that a man like that might one day turn about and serve the Empire?"

"You believe in people, my lord... it is a rare trait I have seen among them Sith," she counters.

"That is something you may thank my Father, my Mother for," she said a little more casually than usual. "I hope it is something that one day the Empire may thank them for as well, alongside their own contributions."

"You will redeem the name of your family, my lord," Weaver says proudly.

"That remains to he seem," she said. Looking to see the patch job on the open wound she had been left with.
Standing, she looked back to Weaver, "Best turn in for the night. I have no doubt another hard day will be come tomorrow."

"Of course my Lord, good night," she retires.
