Rumun was short of cash. He noticed a bounty to find and kill some people.
First he tried to investigate where the first group of Niles Victavo's sons. A couple with a kid. Already this did not sound good. Rumun felt something, as he tried to find information about the whereabouts of the family his mind was strained.
Finally he found the couple. He tried to kill them but he failed at the last moment. His heart did not like this.
Then he tried to found the second couple, a family with two teenagers. His mind was tested at the limits. He was killing for money, that was not right. He never killed for something as inconsecuencial as money, yet he was here.
After many hours he eventually found the second family. Filled with the darkside he killed them all. But as he looked at those he murdered in cold blood, he felt sickened. He dropped his lightsaber, and stood there trembling and watching their lifeless bodies. He was a murderer... he always rationalized that the people that he had killed in the past were enemies that wanted him dead. But this was different, these people did not have any connection with him. He killed them for money...
After some hours recovering from this mental stress, Rumun tried to found the third family but the guilt of killing these people finally broke him. He could not do it again. Even a sith have some type of moral code, yet he was here trying to kill for money, and only for money.
He could not continue. He went back to where Izen Otavo was and informed him that he killed 4 of Niles' descendants. He earned 250 per person. So 1000 Credits.
1000 Credits for killing 4 innocents. Rumun felt disgusted with himself. Perhaps he started to view the wrong on his actions? He was weak.
