[D7 ME] Date for the Dance

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Hm, I believe you will do well. The Force is a powerful weapon, after all. And I know you have the drive to win... especially if I'm there to watch you," she grins and squeeze him a bit closer to her.

"And I will of course make sure to reward you properly if you win."

At that, he just held her close, looking into her eyes for a long moment before kissing her. For a minute he just enjoyed being close and dancing with her.

"I think I'm the most fortunate man in this club, being here with the most amazing woman in it."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"And I might be the most fortunate woman?" she smiles. "Seeing as how I got the most handsome man in the club in my arms right now."

"Do you want another drink? Believe it's my turn to buy you a round."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Alright," he replies, nodding to her. He puts an arm around her waist and leads her to the bar. "How are things going with Kristal and Sylvain?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Haven't asked them, but all clues point to them having more or less made up... and made out," she snickers. "Which is good. Was awkward being the one caught in the middle to keep us together. I was never the one to do that before, as it was either Syl smoothing things out when Kris and I both got too stubborn for our own good. Or Kris smacking our heads together when Syl and I were acting too much like brother and sister, and getting angry with eachother."

Her mood falters a little. "They met some Jedi yesterday from what Syl told me... Kris had to go into surgery after it."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Damn Jedi. Assaulted Imperials during peace talks and they're the ones that try to claim moral high ground?" he says with a bit of a sneer. "Do you know who it was?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

She shakes her head as she hadn't inquired and Sylvain hadn't told her. "He probably would've told me if it was someone I knew... not that I know that many Jedi though," she shrugs. "Though the high-speed chase yesterday, was actually with a Jedi. Not me chasing him or him chasing me though. I was looking for an informer, and he was after the same target. Convinced him to work together and as we walk in to look for the person, they run off on a speeder."

"So I did the most sensible thing, which was to 'borrow' the nearest speeder and made the Jedi hop on. In hindsight, I probably should've let him done the steering, seeing as he seemed to be a much better driver than me."

"The only Jedi I've really spoken to is Alysele Cortess. I haven't worked with any of them," he says. "And if they are attacking our people... maybe it's time to remove another conclave from the Galaxy."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Another shake of her head as they reach the bar and she places the order for two drinks.

"I think I'm coming more and more to the conclusion that some of the Jedi are better than the rest of them. Like Alysele. Not all of them are completely brainwashed, thankfully." Though she wonders what some of them would say of her and Zeno in that same regard.

"But let's not start blasting anything to smithereens yet... the Dark Lords are trying to get an alliance with the fat slugs, after all. Eliminating the conclave could make them unhappy."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Damned Jedi. Relying on the light while being so duplicitous. Stronger evidence that the light is a lie. This galaxy will be better with them gone. Perhaps a more honest opponent driven by the light will pop up in their place."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Agreed," Shaisha nods as she thinks back to how that Jedi master drugged a group of guests... hardly the Champion of Light a jedi should be.

As their drinks arrived, she held up her glass. "To worthy adversaries?"

[Zeno Deathwright]

"To worthy adversaries," he responds as he drinks to the toast.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

She takes a sip of her drink as well.

'Had any luck in finding some big monster to kill?"

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I'll be helping some folks with an acklay tomorrow," he says with a nod. "Should be exciting."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"The hell's an acklay?" she asks with an interested chuckle in her tone.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Giant beast, aggressive, a bunch of legs and claws. They're not native but someone apparently brought one to Nal Hutta."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Sounds like a nasty customer," she chuckles. "You have to let med know how that went. Who are you hunting with?"

[Zeno Deathwright]

"A twi'lek and a few others I haven't met before. A chance to meet some new people," he replies.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Usually a good thing," she nods, taking another sip. "And these people might owe you a favour then if you help out? At least that's how it seems to me."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Maybe. But mostly I haven't had a good fight since coming here. I'm looking forward to getting a few good swings in," Zeno says.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Mhm... wish I could see you in action again. I imagine you must have improved quite a lot since Death's Shadow," she says with a fond smile, thinking back to that crazy thrill ride they had with Khalim when they took out that big beastie.

"Sparring just isn't the same, you know."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I've both refined my technique and learned better how to read my opponent's intentions with the force. Coupled with my new saber, I think I may be on a new level now," he says with a nod.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

She nods. "I feel I've improved a lot too... makes me wonder sometimes how I survived that fight with Death's Shadow, considering how little actual experience I had then, and all I had was a newly constructed lightsaber with no modifications," she chuckles at that and shakes her head. "Damn, we were lucky back then."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Strategy. I nearly wiped the pack initially and made sure we had weapons to allow flexible attacks. We came at them with a plan. We focused attacks and slowed our enemy. It wasn't luck, it was intelligence."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Eh, tactics and luck," she grins and finishes her drink. "Considering I was nearly crushed by the thing when it collapsed on top of me, I'd say there was some luck involved."

"Though I was rather happy you and Khalim helped me out from there."
