Nar Shaddaa

Remmington is bound with binders and is given a swift kick to the gut to wake him up. There are six nikto guards and a Mandalorian standing around him in the luxury penthouse. He notices Nitiri nearby in a similar situation. The Mandalorian says in Huttese, "Dango is not very happy with you, Imperials."

"So my first question is why you thought you could kriffing steal from one of the most powerful hutts on Nar Shadda."

OOC: Both Niriti and Remmington are bound, spending 2 more Destiny because pissing off Hutts is bad. Scrutiny modified by -0.4. I know this may cause some... temporal issues we will fix them.

Remmington shakes off his grogginess and accesses the situation quickly. He looks at the Mandalorian. "Like I said before, I wasn't there for stealing. I was looking for something."

Niriti notices the binds on her hands, her head pulls up, as she awakes, and find that Remmington is near her as well. She has no notion of how or when they got her, but that meant that the security of their compound was either in it, or just simply lousy. "MMmmmm" She moaned as she awoke to the guards. "Dango could had asked for a meeting if she was not happy with us Imperials, I would had been very happy to see her and listen to her."

And it seemed somehow Remmington had gotten them there.

The Mandalorian replies, "Sounds like the same thing to me, what were you looking for. Keep in mind you give us an answer we don't like we mess up your girl's face."

He nods to a houk guard who puts a foot on Niriti's chest, it is not pleasant. When Niriti speaks the Mandalorian responds, "When Dango is angry, she does not ask. You made the mistake of making her angry, Sith."

The houk draws a blaster and says in Huttese to Remmington, "Best start squealing."

"Hey ease up guys. It's not like there is a problem with telling you what I was looking for." Remmington holds his hands up.

He looks around to get a good look at the place. "Hmm... this may be a little late to mention but this is a pretty swank place. I love what was done with the windows."

He looks back at the Mandalorian. "Well in any case, I was looking into some Force related stuff. I heard about a Dark Side creature attacking someone so I thought to look into it more. As for why I sliced into Network Security. To be honest, it was just more effective and easier to do it myself since I have a better idea what I am looking for."

He lets the Mandalorian process all that. "So, may I ask what now? I imagine that Dango wants something from us."

So all this was after information... "You mean to say that you are going to disfigure me, who has worked for the Hutt before, and ensured their deals in Korriban? And all for just some information on some dark creature that he was probably going to get rid of for the Hutt. Now talk about grateful!"

With not so many details, there was not much that Niriti could use to control the others, make them change their minds.

"Now if you even harm me, I wonder what the rest of the Hutt that have interest in Korriban will say... since I still hold their dealings there with the representant of the Hutts. Or what the Empire would think when you harm the acolyte of a Minister."

“You took sensitive trade data, sensitive data that Dango the Hutt is angry about,” the Mandalorian retorts.

“That ain’t some kriffing Force magic. That’s money.”

The Mandalorian nods to the houk who shoots Niriti in the knee, the blaster is on stun but it hurts all the same. Obviously they were more scared or loyal to Dango than the other Hutts.

OOC: Niriti suffers 4 strain.

Niriti gives a shriek of pain throughout the room as the energy spreads through her body. "BASTARDS!" She shouts out to them as she looks at them in disgust. She would destroy those who had hurt her with the blessing of the Hutt, somehow she would get it done.

"Alright. So then what now?" Remmington asks again.

The Mandalorian says, “I am asking the questions here, Sith. Why did you try to steal from Dango the Hutt? Now you owe her your life, which might not be as long as you think it might be. So really the question is how bad do you want to live, because the more you cooperate the better your chances.”

“Keep resisting and…” he says nodding to the houk who puts another blast in Niriti’s gut. The houk chuckles at her pain.

“Think we understand each other?”

OOC: Niriti suffers another 4 more strain. Remmington was not able to get the data he stole out before the Hutts got it back.

Remmington nods. "Yeah, we understand each other." He glances over to Niriti.

“Excellent, so Dango is not without mercy and in the essence of peace you might be a useful pile of sarlacc bits to her alive. First you have caused Dango emotional distress, that right there is worth 75,000 credits but then you tried to lie to her and that just hurts her feelings… so that’s another 75,000 credits.”

The houk leg breaker says in Huttese, “That adds up to 200,000 credits, right?”

“Close enough. So to begin making it up to her, your Huttball team is going to take a dive, tomorrow night. That will show your sincerity. After that we’ll be in touch. Skip town, and Dango will find you. Run to your masters, and think you can attack the Hutts, and Dango will make sure your fiancée suffers an accident.”

The Mandalorian says, “You understand, Sith.”

(Could I try a negotiation roll to draw the cash down due to my own suffering and pain?)

OOC: Negotiation check is 2 difficulty dice and a challenge die and two setback dice due to the not great situation

(That's way over my head and can end up killing us. Even using Destiny Points, so Niriti will instead stay quiet, the most she can do is use Sense to get a grip of their feelings.)

Remmington looks around and over to Niriti.

"That is a lot of credits. Will there be ways to work that down? Since you mentioned Hutt Ball and all." He looks at the Mandalorian.

He is certainly going to remember this ugly mug. More importantly, he is going to burn details of the trade info into his memory.

"Dango owns you, and she will tell you when your debt is paid. Dango is showing you mercy, do not displease her again or you won;t ever wake up," he says before stomping Remmington and Niriti into darkness.
