Aphr seemed to have things with Ryssa in hand. Galen turned his attention to the bodyguards.

Ryssa widens her eyes and falls back from the twi’lek and her crimson lightsaber. She looks at her damage weapon and says, “Kriff kill them!” She fires wildly with her blaster pistol but Aphr feeling the force flow instinctively reflects many of the blasts to little effect.

She is unharmed.

OOC: Maneuver to grant her allies a Boost die on their next action and she shoots Aphr at point blank range. She misses and grants the next ally a boost die!

Ryssa Lim vs. Aphr: 1eS 1 failure

Aphr's focus had been deflecting many of the hits back in the direction of the shooter, so her return attack wasn't anywhere near as impressive as the first. However, she had managed to put Ryssa between herself and most of the shooters, and given Galen an easy strike at the others.

This wasn't going to be easy. He moved to keep the goons busy, calling on the Force to help him.

The bodyguards gang up on Galen and try to beat him down with punches and kicks, it was just overwhelming but he could handle it.

“I said kill them!” she says firing again at Aphr! She fires wildly again and a blast makes it pass the blurring crimson shield she was making with her weapon shaking her confidence briefly!

Aphr stumbles her weapon nearly removing Ryssa’s hand but she drops her blaster to save her limb!

OOC: Hits for 7 wounds on Aphr before soak, drops her weapons due to Threat but crits with a Triumph! Ryssa uses a Maneuver to grant her allies a boost die.

Aphr took the hit, and felt the pain. It reminded her of the Ackley fight.

With a cry of anger, she struck out at Ryssa hard, flattening the woman with her strike, the blade singing as it sliced through her flesh.

The door flies open and blaster fire fills the room and the thugs go down with deadly precision. A woman in armor stands in the door and says with a modulated voice, “You must be Galen, Night sends her regards.”

Behind her there are several dead thugs strewn across the various gambling tables.

OOC: Combat ends.

He nodded. "Thank you."

Walking over to Ryssa's body, he picked up her blaster and looked around the room.

"How long do we have?" he asked the armored woman.

"Not long, the new boss will be here soon and she was pretty clear that you needed to be gone. This is her victory, not yours," she says to Galen.

"I figured." he sighed. "I was hoping for a few parting scraps, though."

Aphr had turned quickly as the door had flown open, but when it was apparent that these were on their side she powers down her saber and takes a calming breath.

That was...terrifying. She looked at the saber and exciting.

She took a few moments, and looking to Galen and giving him a nod, before looking to this new person. "And I hope this new boss will leave us be."

"As long as we don't cause her any trouble." he smiled. "This is over."

Galen scanned the room again, picking up a couple items of interest as he led them out.

Aphr stood nearby, her saber still in hand. She kept a careful eye on the proceedings.

"C'mon." he guided Aphr towards the exit. "It's time to go. Thank you for saving my life, by the way."

"Makes up for Nal Hutta" Aphr said softly, her voice eerily calm after everything that's happened. "Go ahead, I'll follow behind you."

"Alright, we'll talk about it later." Galen smiled and walked out.

Aphr paused at the exit, looking round at those standing nearby, before she made her.
