Layne's assistance was at least somewhat useful, it seemed; you'd think a Sith asking questions would lead to everyone just shutting the hell down and fleeing, but apparently not. Still, this was clearly Asra's show, and Layne seemed willing enough to let her take the lead.

The next hour, spent tracking the man is... less successful. Stilll successful! But it's a close thing, and Asra is clearly frustrated by several near-setbacks. She's grateful for Layne's presence, though, which was doing a lot to keep things going smoothly.

Despite a few frustrations, things had mostly gone off without a hitch! Until now. "What the fffffffff-" She dissolved into angry nonsense sounds. After a moment of silence, she lets out a short puff of breath. "Welp."

Layne's lightsaber severely fucked up a boulder following the target's unfortunate escape. It was totally terrifying. But fortunately, she didn't seem to direct her anger at Asra.

She growls under her breath. "That bastard moved... literally at the same time," she utters angrily. "I kind of want to hunt him down just for the temerity." She rubbed her face a few times with her hands, too distracted to maintain her usual terse demeanor.

"We would be stuck on this shitshow of a planet forever," she said to that, her lightsaber-fury finally over.
