The premier independent voice in the galaxy, Galaxy Network News is the most widespread news outlet in the galaxy showing in all sectors, though… heavily monitored and cleansed in Imperial space. With branch offices all across the galaxy it is a respected voice for hard hitting news and media coverage. One of the top anchors is Jeri Ganz, a ten year veteran that handles the Prime Time News.
A calm and collected voice, he has been the face of the Prime Time news for the last six years and looks to have many more years ahead of him. In Imperial space the GNN is often seen as Republic propaganda but it is tolerated though viewership is higher for Imperial Network News. In Republic space the news outlet compete with many other news agencies and is seen as a bit sensationalist but respected and hard hitting.
As a side note the Hutt Cartels have large legal investments in GNN, for full disclosure, and one of the largest hubs is located on Nar Shaddaa.
