"I'm not so worried about that. Good fight and all that." He perked his brow at the Imperial. "Credits. I want to hear them now."

"If you want credits, credits you will have. Go to the Imperial embassy. Tell the duty officer that Colonel Moraal sent you. Give them your names, your service record and list of accomplishments, and you will be given a suitable retainer," she said, giving them an encouraging smile, "And spread the word. I'll arrange referral bonuses as well. Acceptable?"

"Very well." He looked to the rest of his defectors and then nodded. "We might not have a Clan Kelborn in the future. Those come and go all the time. Instead, we'll have a true Mandalore."

Hala tapped something into her datapad as he spoke, then smiled slightly and looked back up at them.

"A line of funding has been approved for you, and for any others who wish to join you. Bring them, send then, and they will be paid as well. You don't need to depend on the old way for your livelihood any more while we work towards raising a true Mandalore. And in the mean time, you will have credits. Our armorers can help maintain your kit and our maintenance crews can help keep your ships flying."

She reached back with her left arm and picked up the glass which had been poured for her but which had been left untouched. She raised it to her new comrades and spoke up again, turning her micro-projectors back on.

"To a True Mandalore!"
