if you can't dance (Day 5 Early Afternon The Ritts)

[Zanebry Varliss]

It happened about twice a month, the owners of The Ritt's opening door early to Host dance classes, usually for amateurs, they were free to all who showed and helped boost business. The owners usually brought in several instructors and paid a half decent wage, so Z signed on every once and awhile. He wouldn't of come after this morning incident, but he had already booked so he showed anyways.

The rules were simple, The instructors would set up pairs, and observe giving advice where they could, for a few credits though private lessons could be bought. These would last anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour, and rates changed based on the instructor.

Z was pacing the hall, watching the various couples dance and occasionally stepping in to give advice. Thus far it was a average day.

Orar Varad walked up to Zanebry with a pretty, homebody-looking gal in hand. They stopped a few steps away and exchanged whispers. He then grinned at the man with the wonderful hat and motioned to his partner. "She says she's never danced before. But today that's changing, isn't it?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"It certainly is Sir." He offered cordially with a friendly smile. "Where you wanting me to instruct the pair of you? Or was there something else you had in mind?"

[Nekoinu]

"Exactly that." He smirked. "She has 'stupid feet,' her own words." The lady shot him a pout and he shrugged. "Best way to describe it."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I don't know." He looked the woman over for a moment. "I figure her feet are smart enough, just in need of the proper instruction."

"Any particular style of dance you wished to learn?"

[Nekoinu]

"Whatever you know best," he replied with a grin, "I thought you were supposed to be a teacher here."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I am, I was just curious if you wanted something more formal or less, I suppose we can just go with something easy though."

"If you'd face your partner sir."

[Nekoinu]

Orar nodded and took his partner by the hands. He was particularly gentle and looked to Zanebry. "Easy and, well, not too raunchy. I don't want her to go into shock," he teased.

[Zanebry Varliss]

His lips curled into crooked smile, his eyes moving to the young woman to make sure she was alright. "Put your left hand on her waist sir. Miss, if you could your right hand on his shoulder." He instructed moving around the pair to make sure they were positioned correctly, offering further bits of advice if he needed to.

[Nekoinu]

The couple took the positions well, the man more-so than his partner. "Come on darling, no need to be so embarrassed."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"As he said Miss, there is nothing to be embarrassed about." He still looked the woman over again, to make sure she wasn't being forced. Though thus far it didn't seem so.

"Just relax, take a deep breath and look your partner in the face."

[Nekoinu]

The woman kept her eyes lowered as Orar took the lead. "Oh darling, are you still shaken up by the fight back there?" He looked over to Zanebry and lightly shrugged. "Just a Mandalorian scuffle."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Those happen from time to time." He offered with a small shrug, continuing to give them pointers as they danced. "Hope it wasn't over anything important?"

[Nekoinu]

"Over the most important of matters, actually," Orar remarked before smirking to his lady friend, "He thought I should find myself a good Mandalorian lass and ditch dear Talara here."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Oh?" He raised an eyebrow. "Why would he do that I wonder? I mean I've met some very fine Mandolorian women in my life, but I've never heard you had to date only within the clans."

[Nekoinu]

"Eh, he thought if I wanted to call myself a great Mandalorian then I'd need a great Mandalorian wife." He smirked. "Proved him wrong."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Oh?' He raised an eyebrow. "Does that mean you two are engaged?" He glanced between the pair. "Is this lesson in preparation for the wedding?" He really didn't believe that was all there was too it though, and he'd keep watch on the woman from the corner of his eye.

[Nekoinu]

The woman blushed heavily and shook her head. Orar himself turned a bit pale and then shook his head. "No, no. He just believed that taking dear Talara here on a date was with the intent of marrying her." He looked back to her. "Not that that is a bad thing. Just..."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Ah, sorry." He offered a smile. "My misunderstanding." He continued his instruction trying to give them both advice on their footwork. Though it was likely the woman needed more help on these matters. "You said you were a Mandolorian though? Can I ask which clan?"

[Nekoinu]

The man smiled. "I sure am. Clan Varad." He led Talara gently, allowing her time to adapt to the instructions Zanebry had given her.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Oh? That's pretty Impressive." He smiled slightly as he moved around the pair, critiquing where he needed to. "I've heard all kinds of stories about you guys over the years."

[Nekoinu]

"Have you now? What exactly have you heard?" he asked, presumably intrigued by stories of himself.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Oh the usual, that your good in a fight, ruthless in the right places. A good clan to have on your side." He replied easily enough. "There been a bit of bad mouthing as well of late, about that job last year. But I don't pay much heed to it."

[Remmington Thalalas]

At some point Z has a commlink conversation with Remmington...

"Oh hey Z. I hope you are doing well." He answers.

A little bit later he replies again to Z.

"Sorry to hear that. We will have to catch up some time later.

Also, apologies for the abrupt message. Long story short. I found something that the Hutts really didn't want me to find. I was put in a position that I couldn't refuse at the time with some bs demands. So yeah, the Hutt Ball game was one of them. Though on the bright side, it looks like it was such a debacle and made the Hutts lose out on a lot of money so I don't think they'll try that again.

Anyways, I'm deliberately not telling you much so you don't get too involved. I'd rather not see anything happen to you Z. So I'm giving you the chance to walk away from our deal. No hard feelings. I'll give you a little something as a thank you for everything you have done so far.

We can still be friends but I think it best for our business to end here. Still I leave that decision up to you." Remmington replies.

[Zanebry Varliss]

It had been a bit since Z had dialed up Remington and has the call came in he looked up at the pair. "I'll have to ask you to pardon me for a few moments. I have to take this." He said as he stepped away to a secluded spot.

"I've already decided to step to the side Remmington. So send me what you think is fair payment, and we'll part ways. At least as business partners."
