Putting on a Show (D7 MM)

She looked at the chip and placed it into the datapad. After verifying there was nothing in it, she smiled faintly. Instead of returning it immediately, she loaded in her contact info. "Sorry. Protocol and all that. If I could do more, I would, really."

[Cole Ormont]

Cole favoured her with his best, lopsided, smile as he takes the chip back, winking. "I think there might be two things you can do for me? My C.O. isn't going to be happy, do you think you can put a hold on the freighter? If it leaves Nar Shaddaa before my boss clears this report," he holds his hands up defensively and shakes his head, as if he didn't want to imagine it.

[Nekoinu]

"I might be able to do that," she said with her eyes lowered, "What's the second thing?"

[Cole Ormont]

Cole touches her cheek so she looks up at him, "have dinner with me?" He has no actual intention on following through, but if he dropped the act now, she might notice something off. And wasn't this how the holonovels went?

She nodded. "Of course! I-I already put my information in that datachip." She pulled up her datapad and typed furiously as if her life depended on it. "There. A hold has been placed. I can see if I can delay it longer but for the time being w-you have another day."

[Cole Ormont]

"You're the best," and he tucks a strand of her hair behind an ear. "I'd better let you get back to work, I need to report in. But you will be hearing from me."

[Nekoinu]

The woman bowed her head. "Right. Work. I'm sure you're busy with your duties, Lieutenant." She gave him an unpracticed salute. "Good luck!"

[Cole Ormont]

He salutes and winks at her. On his way off the Freighter, he is memorising the ship layout.
