"You can choose to defy her. If you do, I will accept the punishment for it. But regardless of what it means for me, it will not be the end of it for you. In essence you will choose if you want to face what she is with me, or with someone else."
She paused.
"Peace is a lie, Aphr. Peace of your mind is a lie. You won't ever find it. Not in the life you've had, not in the life you might have. But you can govern your disquiet, understand it, let it fuel your accomplishment. If you decide to rely on me in this, I will show you how. And the essence of it it not to deal pain. She is twisted and perverted, she confuses many things for her own indulgence."
Aphr didn't turn back until the woman was long gone. It was only as the other Twi'lek started speaking that she turned back to her, and she held the gaze. Listening to the woman's words silently. There was a lot to try and take in at once. Eventually, she took a breath, and spoke, barely over a whisper.
"And yet, you serve her."She looked to the group gathered around them, before turning back to the Twi'lek. Keeping a calm expression, even as inside she was conflicted - fear and anger mixed together.
"I don't believe we will have a private conversation here anymore."
