Zane had arrived earlier to pick up Yslane, garbed in his best, with a tie to match her dress. The cab ride had been short and as the car stopped he quickly exited, making his way around the vehicle to open the door and offer Yslane his hand.

"Are you ready my dear?" He asked as she exited.

Yslane arrived, at first Zane is probably upset that she is not wearing his dress. Nor is she wearing the fashionable but bland suit of the civil professional. Her clothing is more practical. But any surprise over that would be immediately drowned out by two very real differences in the lady from two nights ago and this one:

1) There is a relaxed confidence in this woman, a far cry from the nervous and timid bureaucrat Zane remembers.

2) A metal cylinder that looks suspiciously like the hilt of a weapon favored by a certain Republic aligned religious order whose members have been more active on Nar Shadda as of late.

"Mr. Varliss....my apologies. I believe it best to reintroduce myself," She smiles apologetically, "I am Yslane Tssilla....Padawan in the Jedi Order. A pleasure to make your acquaintance as who I actually am."

Yslane pauses for a moment before her somewhat stern demeanor softens and she scratches her cheek, that at least looks more like the self-conscious Yslane from the club, "I...expect you'll be wanting the dress and shoes, or compensation for their cost back. Sorry about that."

He was a bit disappointed, he was looking forward to seeing her in the dress again, and the fact that she was a jedi knight was more then a bit surprising. Still there wasn't a trace of disappointment on his face as he offered her a smile.

"A pleasure to meet you again Yslane, though I don't think you really need to introduce yourself. You may be a more confident and a Jedi, but I still believe you are the woman I've come to know.

"As for the dress and shoes, they are yours and have been since I bought them. Keep them and wear them should you find the reason to do so." He looked into her eyes. "I only have one question. Are you prepared to dance in that?" He gestured to her clothes.

Yslane canted her head to the side, "I....kind of expected you to be more upset about this." She rubs her chin in thought, "And if I told you I have a vow of celibacy....but would still be okay with the dance."

She laughs at that, "Really you are too much, most people I know would see the lightsaber toss some one liner 'sorry baby, too many entanglements. You have a good life kid'....or you know ranting about deception...." Yslane offered her hand, "Not quite the head turning beauty you wanted but I'm sure people will be shocked."

"I admit I am a bit disappointed, I really liked the way that dress looked on you. But there is always the slim chance I'll get to see it in the future." He smirked. "We gamblers are sometimes known to play the long odds. As for the vow of celibacy, sex is enjoyable, but I like dancing just as much."

He took her offered hand, offering her a smile over the shoulder as he lead her towards the entrance of the establishment. "I'm not your average man Yslane, or at least I like to think so, and you don't need fancy clothes to be beautiful my dear."

With a tip of his hat to the door man they'd enter the club, there would be no need to stand in line for Zane or his date.

"Oh but they do help," Yslane laughed, "Well know you know why I dislike heels so much. One of my fellow Jedi can fight in them but I'm less....finesse then she is."

"I should have brought the dress after all." She looked over the place, it was fairly familiar to her by this point. "Philosophically....what is an average man? Some series of traits that conforms to an analyst's fancy bell curve? I doubt their is a cross section of traits anywhere that could describe the vast majority of the population. Maybe one or two traits common to most but....enough to define an average man, hardly."

Yslane nods at the door man, "My, you must be the envy of several people. Being able to just walk in to this club."

"A small benefit from working in the business, you get know a bit around town." He answered in regards to the doorman before slipping back into their conversation.

"Perhaps, but your quite lovely enough when you smile and laugh. It suits you much more then timid." He let go of her hand as he started to move towards the interior of the club, in search of a table. "Enough practice and patience and one can do almost anything Yslane, but I do see your point."

"I don't come here much, but I at least know the fashions." He teased as he finally located them a table. "You'd know more about the philosophical side of things than I. But if there are no average men? I wonder what you would define me as?" Finally letting go of the jedi's hand, he moved to pull out a chair for her.

She took the offered seat, "Hmm well a rather charming and talented individual." Yslane smiled, "Probably a bit of a womanizer. A gambler by your own admission, and a professional one at that....so you might claim to take crazy risks and just being lucky, but I know that means more you are better at reading people and making risk assessments. Amateur gamblers rely on luck."

"Thank you, I much prefer not having to wear the timid mask. I know some people find that....interesting shall we say."

"Drinks?" He asked as he wound his way around the table after seeing Yslane properly seated. Pausing to take off his jacket, he offered her a smile. "Why thank you Yslane, that's quite kind of you."

"Luck is a fools friend." He offered with a chuckle. "I still like to keep her by my side though." He began to roll up his sleeves, revealing the pale skin below. A few scars were visible, the most prominent on his left arm. It was long and thin, likely a defensive wound from a knife fight. "Mmm, I'd say I prefer tearing away that timid mask to reveal the woman underneath then anything." There was a small amount of teasing in his tone as he continued. "As I don't find timid woman on tgeir own al that... interesting."

"So then what did you expect under my mask....clearly not a Jedi." She muses, "I suppose I should say that there is no luck only the Force. Though I believe that to be partially true. The Force replaces luck when it needs to, so your average roll of the dice is not the will of the Force. Much to chagrin of more then a few suckers with empty pockets I imagine."

"Oh, someone beautiful, talented, graceful. Or that's what I felt when we danced. Perhaps someone with more confidence then she knew?"

"Honestly quite like the woman in front of me." He took his seat and flagged over a waitress. Looking towards Yslane to confirm if she wanted anything before placing a order.

"I imagine, though I tend to shy away from dice myself, too unpredictable."

"I suppose its more difficult to hide one's self then previous imagined." Yslane chose a milder drink, one with out any frills, "I'm not a fan of dice either. They seem to enjoy making a mockery of probabilities."

"Might I ask if all has gone well these last couple of days?"

"Could be that unjust good at reading people." He offered with a small smile. "I tend to think the best personas have a touch if ourselves in them though. I suppose what I'm really curious about though is how you learn to blush on command like that."

"Mmm. About as well as always. My days are filled with dinner, dancing, and music. As well as saving the occasional dame in a spot of trouble."

"Hmm," Yslane raises a brow, "Just a bit of willpower. Its nothing really compared to the mental exercises I learned before leaving the Temple."

"Out rescuing the helpless, or is that just code for wooing someone?" She teases.

Their drinks arrived and Z picked his up taking a slow sip. "Is that so, I suppose I'll just have to wonder if I ever got you to really blush then."

At her teasing his lips curled into a mischeivous smile. "I think I'll just leave that up to your imagination."

"You'll know." Yslane smirks, "Oh? So you want to see how Noble I think you are."

"I trust regardless it was a rescue done with style."

He smiled in return at her comment taking another sip of his drink. "Perhaps I am, though Ive already admitted I'm the type of man mother's warn they're daughters about."

"Of course! Though it did ruin a good coat. That's a price one has to pay though."

"Had to toss it over a puddle?" Another tease. "Being Noble doesn't give you a pass with mothers I would imagine."

She takes a sip of her own drink, "So what do you think of the Hutt's big convention?"

"Blaster holes" He replied with a playful smile as he gestured towards an area on his chest. "Cleaners can generally get out mud stains." He smirked. "No, not many things get you a pas with mothers."

"Honestly? I don't know what to make of it, I don't watch many holovids... I did see you there earlier today though, all dressed in red."

Well Zane got to see a real blush after all. "Yeah....my Master wanted to do some costuming. It was either that or bright purple spandex and silly poses." She waves it off, her face cooling back down.

"I'm not cut out to be a mysterious pirate queen."

He looked her over for a moment before raising an eyebrow. "Bright purple spandex?"

"Oh? I thought you did pretty well, at the very least you looked good in that costume." Much better then some of the others. "And it was rather cute the way you blushed when you walked onto stage. Did you hear me cheer for you?"

"I didn't hear anything...to busy trying to get it over with." Yslane sighed, "Yes....part of some warriors of Justice team."

"The whole thing was a bit ridiculous to me. But several people had fun. I guess just part of me being a sheltered Jedi student most of my life."

"Perhaps so." He replied before sipping his drink.

'On the topic of fun though, were you ready to hit the floor/" He tipped his head towards the dance floor, where men and women writhed to the throbbing beat of the music.

Yslane nodded, "Most of dancing practice has been more.....martial or meditative in nature." She smiled, "Not quite ballroom dance music right now, but I think we can manage."

He took a moment to remove his gloves and place them on the table, rising a few moment later to round the table. "I felt your grace, the other day so I'm sure you'll do just fine." He offered her his hand, his lips spreading into a playful me. "As for me, as much as I hate to admit it, I can dance to just about anything."
