*high fives Galen*

So who are the lucky women we invite to party day 11?

That probably depends on Zane more than Galen.

Why did you want to romance Lyshea so badly xD?

It was an amusing idea.

In character, Galen was intrigued from the moment she approached him in the Cantina. A mysterious woman with a ominous warning was a memorable encounter. The luncheon suggested a unique perspective of the universe that fascinated him. It was clear it would be a challenge, but she didn't entirely shut him down.

Meanwhile, there weren't many other romance opportunities. Aphr was pretty far into the friend zone. It seemed fairly clear that Night had an agenda. And I didn't have more than a thread or two with anyone else.

We just brushed IC, though there was a lot going on between Galen and Aphr with Moyr context, so maybe some additional thoughts from there?

Highlight of the game?

Biggest regret?

Moment of desperation?

Dirtiest in-character thought?

I enjoyed our thread of the clash of ideas. Discussing philosophy on a better level than Jedi good Sith bad is always a huge plus for me, so thank you!

I loved the discussion and wished we'd had more. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any thread opportunities that didn't feel forced or didn't risk conflicting with other threads. I like Moyr. Galen respects her. His main concern is that she and Aphr want different things and he doubts Moyr will do what Aphr wants. He hopes she won't insist Aphr follow her.

Highlight of the game?

Nothing really stands out to be honest. I enjoyed the game but felt detatched from most of it. I think I've set things up to be more involved the next time around.

Biggest regret?

Not getting to do a bounty and not playing Huttball earlier. I also wished I'd latched onto one of the investigation plots.

Moment of desperation?

My stealth roll at the beginning of the acklay hunt. I felt things would go bad after that. Electrocuting myself made it certain.

Dirtiest in-character thought?

I honestly don't know. There really weren't many opportunities for them.

What does Galen think of Aphr.

More importantly, what does he really think of her choice?

She's the adorable little sister, of course. But, Galen has no real idea what family is. His relationship with her was largely shaped by her. So, he wants what she wants, to save Moyr. If Moyr and Aphr were flying off to explore the galaxy on their own and get away from the Empire and the Republic, he would have happily joined them. Unfortunately, he doesn't think Moyr wants to be saved or sees that as a need. She made it clear to him that she has a goal and a plan to achieve it. It seemed very unlikely that anything could change that. Galen feels it's far more likely that Moyr will change Aphr than the other way around. In his eyes, that already seems to be happening.

But, he understands Aphr's need to do this. He admires her resolve and has chosen not to interfere. Instead, he's going to prepare to redeem her, if that becomes necessary.

Ah, sweet little Galen. He just seemed so innocent in Shai's eyes. ^_^

Did he have much of an interest in the Sith, and if not for Lyshea, do you think he could have been turned to the Dark?

Why didn't he ask Shaisha for help when he and the Starcross were in big trouble?! :o

If anyone could have converted Galen, it was Shaisha.

Galen sees codes of both Orders as flawed. The old Jedi code, at least, he sees as having a sense of practicality. That is one of his main interests in learning from a Jedi. He would like to learn more about the Sith, though, particularly other philosophies some of them may follow. He has no issue with the Sith.

The issue with the Starcross was the nature of how it came about. It would have been an interesting plot to explore if the entire crew had remained available. Xereau having to drop limited our options. None of us wanted to use the ship for anything or put it at risk without his permission. We were planning to recruit help and take Ryssa Lim on, but Eight had to drop. Aphr went to Rome, so I was the only one active.

I thought I had found a solution through a favor from Evangeline, but that didn't work out and my meeting with Ryssa didn't go the way I though it would. The acklay hunt had a fair shot at working, but orokos had different ideas of fair. After that I just wanted to get it over with, one way or another. After Zeno, I didn't want to drag anyone else into it. And, there were a lot of other big plots happening at the same time. Regardless, it all worked out.
