[D6 - EA] As Promised, Here's Your Rodian

[Rumun Gol]

The Greyspectre slowly and cautiously travelled through Nova Devil's space. He was here with Lord Zeno Deathright and with the captured Rodian. Rumun had a deal with the Pirate Queen, he was fulfilling his part.

'' We are approaching master '' 2V-T5 said.

'' Are you sure we are not going to be shoot on sight? '' Tikala asked while she inspected Lord Zeno.

'' Don't worry, my dear. '' The duro said.

[Dapper Dog]

They are hailed by the pirates of the moon, "Back so soon... Sith?" There is chuckling and then they add, "Better not be returning empty handed or her majesty might just blast you into pieces."

[Zeno Deathwright]

Zeno sat with the rodian, simply looking at her and waiting.

[Dapper Dog]

The rodian prisoner has remained mostly silent during her bondage, she was torn between rage and sadness.

[Rumun Gol]

They are hailed by the pirates of the moon, "Back so soon... Sith?" There is chuckling and then they add, "Better not be returning empty handed or her majesty might just blast you into pieces."

'' Don't worry. As promised I bring back her precious information. I do not think she will like to blow us into pieces with the rodian on board my friend. '' He replied via the comm.

[Dapper Dog]

There is a brief delay and then a reply, "Land and report to the Queen."

[Rumun Gol]

'' Sure. '' He said through the comm and then shut off the communications.

'' Well that was a bit more tense that I expected.'' He said to Zeno. '' Did the rodian told you anything about this info, my Lord? '' He asked. Meanwhile 2V-T5 steered the ship to the landing coordinates.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I'm sure she'll be glad to repeat herself for the queen," he says with a shrug. "More dramatic that way."

OOC: Maybe? But not yet because of time warp.

[Rumun Gol]

'' Well, it could be useful to have some sort of backup plan, in case the negotiations go wrong. What this rodian knows could be useful in that case. '' He commented as the ship entered the pirates headquarters

[Zeno Deathwright]

"We'll figure it out," Zeno replies coolly.

[Dapper Dog]

The pirates give the group a wide berth, obviously the Queen is waiting.

Zeno rises and takes the rodian along with as he waits for the ship to dock.

The court of the Queen is silent, the pirates all focus on the Sith and their prisoner. The Queen reclines on her throne as the droid hunting cat prowls back and forth in front of her throne. "Zeno... did you have a change of heart?"

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I had a moment of weakness. The temptation of a larger prize," he says with a shrug. "But Darth Hoshi's influence is more than enough to bring me back on board with a goal that works for the empire," he says with a nod. "Regardless of what happened between us, for me the Empire comes first and it seeks alliance with you. And so, your rodian is returned queen Kress," he gives a respectful bow to the queen.

[Thaya Kess]

"Your patriotism does you much credit, Zeno," the Queen says. She gestures and pirates grab the Rodian and begin taking her away.

"I will have to see if this change of heart is genuine. I had half a mind to cut you out of the deal but I am feeling merciful. A rare thing. Is there anything else?"

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I'm glad you had a change of heart. It means I get the chance to advise you that those I had been working with were planning on attacking you. There were ideas bandied about including surprising you at the treasure ship or drawing your forces elsewhere to distract you and striking against you here. I'm sure that whatever they were planning will change once they learn that they cannot get the Rodian anymore. They seem to take issue with pirates and slavery," he says with a nod.

"At that point I had been willing to go along with it because I expected you would be attempting to kill us and we had what I perceived as a common enemy. Such is no longer the case. They will likely not trust me or talk to me again in the future. May even come after me, which is my concern, not yours. I simply tell you so you can take any action or make any preparations you see fit."

"I am many things but not a slaver," she counters gruffly.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I believe they assumed as much from the people in cages," he replies with a shrug. "It's not something I really thought or cared about when I was here. Just letting you know that's their thought process and was their intent last we spoke."

[Thaya Kess]

"Of course they are plotting, many have tried. I appreciate the information," she says mulling over his words.

[Rumun Gol]

'' Well, I'm glad that all parties here have find common ground. '' Rumun said. '' I'm sure that the Nova Devils will se great benefits by working alongside the Empire. Mutual assistance benefits us all, your Grace. '' He adds.

[Thaya Kess]

"I don't have my ship yet, if the Empire is so keen on this alliance then I am sure you can put in more work," she says.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Let us know what you get from your rodian," he says with a nod.

[Rumun Gol]

'' Of course, of course. '' He said

'' So, what can we do to help you find your ship? You said this rodian had some sort of valuable information, your Grace.''
