"That... may be a great idea Jo'ren. We would need to run topographic scans to see if a bank can be collapsed onto some lower terrain."

She looked at the vastness of the lake and wondered

[DD: Would Xenology roll yield anything based on scanner readings? What roll would be needed to discern if the lake can be drained whole or in part by collapsing one of the banks onto a lower terrain?]

OOC: You don't have the equipment to drain the lake and the Hutts are not going to just let that happen on principle. Daunting Xenology check with two setback. I will flip a Destiny to upgrade 1 die to a challenge die.

It's an aquatic creature... serpent like there is no real identification for it but there are tall tales of a creature called a trash eel getting maybe two to three meters this far exceeds that but they are pretty docile.

[Moyr Ahaya]

Moyr stayed on the comms and kept talking to Baes about the scan readings as Crawn and her returned to the rest of the group.

"So, there is a possibility that this big eel or whatever it is is actually not an unspeakable threat? I find it hard to believe, this close to a source of Dark Vergence."

She tapped her chin.

"I wonder if there is a non-reckless way to test it."

[Jo'ren Rath]

"Non-reckless?" He looked around the group and, with a wink, pointed at Baesal. "I guess our 'Jedi' would be the one to ask."

Moyr laughed.

"It has the size for mauling us in a few seconds or chewing up as an appetiser, so I'd like to know its habits and disposition before we start poking around in its cruising waters."

"Maybe we could throw a fallen tree in...to see how it reacts to disturbances?"

"We certainly should dunk something. Though I'd be partial to something with flesh, on a sizeable side of a local fauna." She chuckled. "Like a Hutt, though something less sentient would do too. Is there something like that we could hunt down?"

"Either way, feeding it now might keep it busy while we investigate the temple." He gave Baesal a thumbs up.

She grimaced

"It worked for the Acklay but this....is much bigger. Trying to influence his emotions towards peace might work but I dont have the technique and it would not be doable with the Dark Side"

"Hence we need something buck-sized. Is there something like that living around in this toxic wasteland?" Moyr produced her sniper pistol and started to inspect it.
