Nar Shaddaa

Craw waited in the rendezvous spot for Corso. He was in his armor, and was alert of his surroundings, not trusting the swamp after the Acklay attack. As he waited he whistled a small tune to spend the time.

A transport lands nearby and three Mandalorians file out down the ramp.

Craw began approaching them, waving as he did. "Su cuy'gar! Good day for a hunt, eh?"

Corso nods and says, “A good day to prove our strength and shed some real blood. This is living. Nal Hutta is a paradise for hunters, if one can look past the Hutts.”

"Lead the hunt, Craw."

OOC: Survival at Average to catch a trail of prey.

Craw nodded, a confident smile cracking his lips, for the first time in a few days. He turned around and gestured for the mandalorians to follow him. He stalked through the swamplands of the poisonous planet, his ear filled with buzzing and clicking and other indistinct insect noise as they walked the dull green landscape. Small swamp life swarmed their feet, the mud and swamp water being an ample breeding ground for them. Craw pushed past the small fry, the bottom feed of the food chain in search of something deadlier... And then... They spotted it.

Craw has caught the trail of a creature unfortunately; it has his scent and it turns when he comes upon it in the polluted swamps. It was munching on a meal and turns spiting something vile at him that causes him to take cover! The spittle burns into a tree.

It pulls its massive bulk to it’s full height standing nearly two meters and shrieks loudly.

OOC: Cool for initiative, Craw will have a setback die on his first action for Round 1.

Craw springs into action as the creature spots him, he gives a cocky laugh and yells "OOYAAA!" He slings his blaster to his hands and let's it roar.

Craw let the blaster roar, hitting the beast square in the chest. The whine of the blaster bolt sent shivers of excitement up his spine.

The creature hisses and then rushes forward spitting more vile spittle at Craw which hits him and sizzles! The Mandalorians unleashes their fury in well aimed blast and then Corso takes careful aim with his Disruptor rifle and puts an end to he creature with a satisfied smirk.

It comes to rest at Craw’s feet with a sizable hole in the chest area.

OOC: The creature takes 4 wounds and then deals 10 wounds to Craw after advancing to Short range with Pierce 2. Mandalorians did 11 wounds down to 5 wounds after soak and strike again for another 5 wounds with auto-fire. For total of 16 wounds done! Corso does 11 wounds down to 6 fora total of 22 wounds, it is dead.

"Ah shit!" Craw curses as he swipes at the acid, trying to get it off. Once the acid is done with burning him he glances at the beast at his feet. A somewhat bigger bug. He looks up to Corso from the beast, "Good shot, man. Thing went down like a rock." He picks a stim pack from one of his many pockets and jams it into his thigh with a grunt. A small sense of vertigo overtakes him, but soon passes. He shakes his head to clear it.

Corso says, “A good and honest kill.”

“Take care of this, I need to speak to Craw. Craw walk with me a moment,” he says moving to a tree to find some shade and privacy. The other Mandalorians begin taking care of the body of the creature.

Craw follows Corso, taking care to avoid stepping on the beast's body. He walked beside the other mandalorian and waited for him to speak.

"I have news about your mother, but it isn't good. She is on Kintan, working a mine as a slave. I had to pull some strings just to find her but she's alive. Working off a debt to Kidaja the Hutt," he replies grimly.

Craw was silent. An aura of anger starting to radiate from him. Corso could not see his face underneath the helmet, but he could most likely guess Craw's expression correctly. "Alright." He said, his tone emotionless. "Guess I've got a hutt to kill."

"Make him pay," Corso says with a nod.

"Yup." He says, voice still emotionless. He pauses, and says, in a serious tone. "Thanks for telling me Corso."

“No need for thinks this is what Mando’ade should do for each other,” Corso says respectfully.
