Nar Shaddaa

Aphr had been quiet for most of the flight, focusing on her thoughts. That strange feeling that pulled her to this planet. Too peaceful to be a Sith feeling.

Eventually, as the planet drew near, she opened her eyes.

"I owe you one" she said quietly to the pilot, looking to him with a soft smile "humouring me while I chase an odd feeling."

"I always accept kisses as payment" Was his teasing reply as he offered her his cheek, should she wish to kiss it.

"Really though, it's no problem. I'm happy to help, even when you're just chasing a feeling."

That broke Aphr out of her thoughts, and she leans in to give him a kiss on the cheek.

"Payment given" she chuckled, before sitting back and looking out of the window with a sigh.

"No really, thank you. I don't even know what I'm looking for...or even if it's a what, or a who. I just...I need to find out what is drawing me here. What is calling to me."

"Mmm. I'm thinking I might have to charge higher rates in the future. So keep that is mind." His tone was teasing as Zan started to take his ship in for a landing.

"Life is like that sometimes, following a feeling even when you don't know where it will take you." He turned to her and offered a smile. "You know I'm here to help though, well as long as I'm around."

"You make it sound like you're not sticking around" Aphr said with a tilt of her head, a curious look "are you leaving soon?"

He smiled softly. "Unfortunately I am my dear. I'm not quite sure when but it will be soon."

"I'll still be able to take you out dancing though, I want to do that at least before I go."

Aphr can feel the sense now more like a pulling... it is silent but a nagging at the back of her mind now. Something just beyond the tip of the tongue to be described but no words fill the void on just what she is feeling but she feels closer to whatever it is now.

"That would be nice" Aphr said with a smile, although it vanished as she looked around then back outside.

"I'm closer. Let's leave and I'm going to...try to and follow the pulling" she got up and made for the exit, trying to follow where the sense was pulling her to.

Aphr frowned more as she was unable to use the force to guide her. So, she instead used her natural survival instincts.

Nearly forty minutes pass the duo, assuming Zane follows, pick their way through the thick swamp, muddy their boots in the brackish water and find their way towards the calling. A few close calls with the local deadly fauna but they avoid any near death experiences.



The duo come upon a woman crouching near a small but clear pool of water in the swamp. She rises and says in Basic, "What brings outlanders to the depths of the swamp?"

Zane had followed Aphr, though he hasn't quite been expecting a journey through the swamps. He'd definitely need a visit to the dry cleaners after this.

"I believe my friend can answer that better then I." He offered as the woman appeared before them. His eyes turning towards Aphr.

Aphr had focused on following the feeling, and getting through swamps wasn't too difficult for her. This...strange, green woman however, wasn't what she was expecting.

"Good morning. Please forgive our intrusion. I am Aphr, and this is my friend Zane."

She took a moment to look at the area before speaking again.

"I was following a sense that was pulling me towards this place. One that has been pulling at me for a while now, and I wished to learn what it was and why it was pulling me to it."

She replies to Aphr, "You are sensitive to the flows of the Force, then?"

Aphr nodded. "I am, and it is that sensitivity that drew me here I believe."

"I feel... a darkness about you," the woman says calmly.

OOC: Flipping Destiny for later.

That was new, and a look of confusion crosses Z's face as he looked towards Aphr. He was going to need a explanation after this. A long one would be nice.

"A darkness?" Aphr asked, curious "what do you mean by this?"

"Sith?" It was the first thing that came to mind. "Have you been meeting that Sith you share a last name with Aphr?"

"It is all around you," the woman says. "You are close to it even now, it is drawing you deeper... it is hard to explain to those that do not understand fully the flows of the Force."

There was a small frown. "You know, you could introduce yourself before sniffing around my Force surroundings. We've shown you that courtesy at least."

She took a moment to calm her annoyance before speaking again.

"What is this place? Why would I be drawn to it?"

“Kaya, I wasn’t sniffing, it was easy to see and feel,” she says looking at Aphr as lightning flashes in the distance and the rain begins to fall in a heavy downpour.

“The Force has guided you to us, we should see where it will lead. Follow me, a storm is coming.”
