A Date with a Dispute (Day 4 EA Three Drinks Closed)

[Zanebry Varliss]

There was a chime from the breast pocket of Zane's suit. A location Naveera might remember as where he keeps the comm with ladies numbers.

He ignored it though at least for the moment. "I know I don't like it either, and it's why I want you to be especially careful out there. If Matthias isn't talking something is wrong."

[Nekoinu]

She appeared to ignore the chime as well. "Here's the location and time. I'll put out an alert for you if things go south." She gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Come packing, then, because I'll only have my holdout, if anything."

[Zanebry Varliss]

He took the note putting it into his pocket. "I'll be close by so don't you worry gorgeous." He replied reassuringly. "And I'm always carrying, Nar Shaddaa isn't safe enough to do otherwise."

[Nekoinu]

"Hey, well, sometimes you gotta pretend to be innocent for your mark." She let out a soft sigh. "Might have been simpler for me to just shoot him myself. But I guess he wants a sniper bullet to do him in.'

[Zanebry Varliss]

"That typically doesn't work to we'll for me, playing innocent that is. I think there might just be something about me that tells women I'm a bit naughty." He gave her a wink. Before moving to the more serious side of the conversation.

"Maybe it's to make someone think those men that killed Aris are Involved? They seemed to be the flashy sort."

[Nekoinu]

"Then you'll just have to be the naughty to my nice," she said with a wink.

"That might be it. But why help terrorists? Or pose as them?" She shook her head. "There're too many unknowns."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I think i can manage that." He reached his hand up to cup her cheek before leaning in for a deep kiss.

It didn't linger long though, and backing away a bit he offered her a reassuring smile. "That's true, and honestly I don't like it. I don't think we have many choices though. At least for now.... As much as I hate to say it."

[Nekoinu]

"We never have any choice. That's what that asshole says, at least." She then nuzzled into his chest and sighed. "We'll weather through it. And I don't just mean the assassination. Everything they have planned."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"We will." He confirmed wrapping his arms sroundcher again.

"Do you have any time?" He asked trying to act innocent. "Or do you have to go soon?"

[Nekoinu]

"Well, I suppose we do need to make up for earlier..."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I agree." He dipped in to kiss her again. "I also bought a few presents for you."

"A new dress, and a few things to wear under it." His lips curled into a sly smile. "You should probably try them on."

[Nekoinu]

Naveera smirked. "You have my size all figured out already? You work fast." She ran a hand across his cheek. "I think I'll do just that then."

[Zanebry Varliss]

His tone turned playful, as he curled a arm around her waist and began to lead her towards his room. "What do you expect? I spent hours yesterday exploring every last inch of you."

He smirked. "Thre is also the fact that I know how to read a tag when a certain lady is all tuckered out and napping."

[Nekoinu]

"You realize that every store has a different size, right? You'd think that if we could establish a Galactic Standard for languages we could do the same for sizes." Naveera let out a small chuckle. "I'm sure the added, say, research helped you make sure though."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I must admit it did." He smiled playfully as they arrived at his room. "I must admit I'll have to double check the results though."

Turning her in his arms to face him he leaned in for a kiss. "Science is like that." The kissing didn't stop there and as they moved into the room the door shut behind them.
