"You appear to rely on your logic. I search my feelings to find the right path. In both, we weather storms to be at peace."

"Whatever one needs to get the job done." He replied to the unusual woman.

[Nekoinu]

She muffled a laugh. "That time it was because of what you said. You proved to be so unlike me and yet our methods are ultimately similar."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Hilarious..." he replied dryly with a chuckle.

[Nekoinu]

The Jedi Master dipped her head. "If I may, I believe the Dark SIde does not have a place in your life. Violence for its own sake does not suit you, Mister Torsin. If you allow yourself to search your feelings, or in your case, weigh the situation logically, then I believe you will achieve your goals more effectively."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain tilted his head, "That is where we most certainly disagree. There are times when a fire must torch the forest to allow the new seeds to grow. Things are not typically absolute. All types of power have their uses, it is the circumstances that dictate what needs to be done."

[Nekoinu]

"Perhaps the fire must torch the forest. But it does not need to be uncontrolled."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"A controlled burn tends to be most effective when there is a plan in mind, yes. But destructive power is necessary nonetheless."

[Nekoinu]

A pause. "Can you tell me a situation where you must destroy all in your path, Mister Torsin?" she asked, genuinely curious.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He looks around, "For a place like this... massive destruction would probably be the best route. The Hutts too ingrained... the people suffer needlessly with no hope of freedom or safety..."

[Nekoinu]

"You would remove everyone and not just the Hutts then?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

He shrugged, "If necessary."

[Nekoinu]

"What would make it necessary, Mister Torsin?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"If conditions on the ground removed the ability of the citizens of this moon to break the chains that bind them. Drugs, debt, blackmail, and the like..."

[Nekoinu]

"Do you not believe them to be capable of doing so at all?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"People become conditioned to what they know. Slavery is not only in bondage or forced servitude. It also exists in the mind. To drive out both physical and mental slavery would take some serious excavation."

[Nekoinu]

"Perhaps it would. Is that not a worthy cause then, Mister Torsin?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded, "That is the cause Master Jedi. The cause of the Empire. To reach out and administer justice, order, and freedom to the galaxy. Freedom from ineffective and corrupt leaders who enslave them in body and mind."

[Nekoinu]

"Whom would you be freeing if you purged this entire moon?" she asked gently, "That is what I am implying. A controlled flame to, as you said, to deliver justice, order, and freedom."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"We'd be freeing the countless others who are subject to wiles of the sharks of Nar Shaddaa."

[Nekoinu]

Master Mersl dipped her head. "Very well then. Then it is simply my hope that if you are ever placed in such a position, you will see value in patience over a great, overwhelming flame."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "I keep all options on the table."

[Nekoinu]

"I suppose there is wisdom in that notion. It may make you more flexible than I am."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded, "Flexibility has its purpose. Perhaps even you could benefit from an occasional release of emotions."

[Nekoinu]

Master Mersl smiled. "I am curious as to why you believe I need to do so." A pause. "And in what matter I even would."
