[D5 LM] Gosh Darn the Queen

"She won't." The Pantoran smirked, looking between the group. Sometimes his arrogance showed through, even in things as simple as planning. "I tweaked her nose innfront of her crew. She'll want to be there to try and end me. I know the type."

He was rather impressed by Adrianaa's new droid companion. How very clever.

"I can convince my own Mandolorian ally to help us. Extra firepower never hurt anyone."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I'll see about bringing others in on my end as well," he says with a nod. They may not want that from a Sith, but he wasn't exactly asking.

[Adrianaa Morindel]

"Having extra bodies is good, but if we are expecting it to be a space battle, we need them to have their own ships. Unless part of this plan is to hijack some fighters?"

[Durasay Mixo]

"I don't know if stealing freighters or fighters is the key here. A space battle against her is a losing one." Durasay brought his hand to his chin, pensively thinking.

"Honestly, the key is luring her to the treasure hoard itself. It would probably be her, and a retinue of her honor guard. Pirates scatter when they lose their leader. That should be easy for us to accomplish."

[Zeno Deathwright]

Zeno nods in agreement to that. "Probably the best course of action."

[Adrianaa Morindel]

"Well then, I think the plan is pretty sound. Now we just need one final bit."

She looks to Zeno.

"Mind bringing the Rodian out so we can discuss with her? Getting the location is the paramount of importance here now I think."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Sure," he replies moving into his ship and bringing her to the entrance. He moves her to a seated position, her hands behind her back. She doesn't look like she's emaciated from lack of food or anything, but she certainly has no reason to smile. She's likely just been stewing on her fate for the past day.

[Dapper Dog]

She frowns at all those gathered and says in Rodian, "Now you want to talk to me?"

[Zeno Deathwright]

"They do. You know I'm not much of a talker," he says with a shrug.

[Durasay Mixo]

Durasay stepped forwards, crouching in front of the Rodian. Expressive yellow eyes meeting the Rodian's own large ones.

"I'm sorry for this, if it is any consolation. My name is Durasay Mixo. I'm very interested in getting you out of this situation."

[Dapper Dog]

"Then do it," she hisses coldly in Huttese. "Otherwise piss of with your empty promises."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"For now you are my leverage. Not a lot of trust going around," he says. "But if things work out between all of us I'll turn you over to them. And they care what happens to you. You should thank them for their kindness."

[Dapper Dog]

"Kriff off bantha poodoo scum," she says spitting in Zeno's direction. "Either kill me now or the Queen does it later, so I owe none of you nothing but death."

[Zeno Deathwright]

Zeno just shrugs. He doesn't really care too much about her fate.

[Durasay Mixo]

"Well, if you can give us the information on that lost treasure ship." Durasay sighed. He hated negotiating like this.

"Our mutual Sith associate could be convinced to hand you over to myself and my crew. We smuggle you out of here, your own your way to a pirate free life. Win for you, and a win for me."

[Dapper Dog]

"Hard to take the higher ground when you just want information, sleemo," she hisses bitterly.

[Durasay Mixo]

"Once I have the information, we have what is valuable to the Queen. Once she has that, you're in a much safer position. Believe me, I'm sorry that my team wasn't the ones that found you." He pursed his lips, not letting the barbs get to him.

"But we need that information to give it to the Queen."

[Dapper Dog]

"I got nothing for you sleemo, you talk good, but you're no better than the Sith," she says bitterly in Huttese.

[Durasay Mixo]

Durasay shook his head, before looking into the Rodian's eyes again. "I stuck my neck out to not have him turn you in. Consider that."

He had taken a rather large risk, one where he angered the Queen.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"It's true. We pissed the queen off when we made our deal. She'll be gunning for us and you're in my care. We get the ship you go free, we have to argue with you and eventually she'll come for us. And I'm not going to let the queen have the satisfaction of getting the information out of you when she's trying to kill me. So the sooner we get to the ship, the sooner you are safe. The longer it takes us to get to the ship, the more likely the queen takes things into her own hands and attempts to take you back by force," Zeno inserts.

[Dapper Dog]

"Then let me go and I tell you what I know, otherwise I have nothing and your word is worth about as much as bantha poodoo," she says.

"You stuck your neck out, well my neck is going to be slit when she gets me. So forgive me if I am not moved by what you tried to do."
