Meeting Expectations (Day 7 Mid Afternoon. Closed)

[Cole Ormont]

Cole was quiet as the others talked, wondering about his role in it all.

"Which is a bigger threat," he broke in, "external security, or internal? to not have someone watching our backs, or to bring in at least three more people? None of you know me, seems like that's already a pretty big risk."

[Zanebry Varliss]

Z smiled slightly. "I know your file Cole Ormont." He looked over at the man. "Looked it over when your name came up as one to be invited. I hope that sort of thing doesn't disturb you, it's just kinda how it works."

"I'd say both have their risks though, and as far as bringing more people in... We may not have to take that many." Turning his eyes towards Yslane he offered her a smile. "We might not have to follow it to the letter. But it will likely prove to be a good starting point."

[Cole Ormont]

Military and dossiers went hand in hand, and from what Z said of his background, Cole was unsurprised. He hoped the read hadn't been too dull, sipping his whiskey and waiting.

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Well not to...sound too arrogant here but Aris didn't have any Jedi on his side," Yslane managed a smile, "For what they may be worth."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"That's true Yslane." Zane replied with a soft chuckle. "Still I am curious if two ships was all he wanted. I seem to recall him looking for crews from three ships, when he first put out word he had a job."

[Arali Zian]

"You'll find the word 'Jedi' carries less weight than you might think here, Yslane," Arali points out. "Let arrogance cloud your judgment and we will fall. I place my faith in the people we have gathered."

[Baesal Zyn]

Baesal nods at Arali's comment then speak ''Aris's hired crews had Siths...while different lets say that he had the 'Force user' aspect"

[Galen Sol]

"Z, what about the Crescent Shadow?" Galen spoke up.

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I wasn't really referring to reputation, more that added benefit some strong in the Force can bring." Yslane sighs, "But I take your meaning."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"What about them Galen? If you mean asking for their help, I can't say that I'd recommend that at all."

He frowned. "Best option would be to hire another shop I think. To run observance on security. We couldn't have to tell them much that way."

[Galen Sol]

"I was wondering if they might get in the way, actually." he shook his head. "If they have an interest in the weapon."

"As for a ship, Xereau might be willing to help out. He's been dealing with a lot of other business lately, though."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Oh, I'm sure they'll try to get in the way. They probably want to get a hold of this thing and use it themselves."

"That could work. Though I'd have to owe him one, not sure if I can afford to pay him much. Especially if I need to hire on another crew."

[Galen Sol]

"Eight's off hunting a bounty on his own, so we're a man down too." he shrugged. "When were you thinking of doing this?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Tomorrow was my hope." He offered after a moment. "It's something that needs to be moved on sooner rather then later after all."

[Galen Sol]

"I'm going hunting in the morning." he advised. "It's something that will get Ryssa Lim off our backs. Assuming all goes well, I'm all yours after that."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Good to know." His eyes turned towards Baesal. "So what else can you tell us? Do you have the layout of the facility? Or do I still need to acquire that on my own."

[Baesal Zyn]

''I'll try to pull out what I can from the databases...If we need manpower then I know a mandalorian, his crew and formidable droid turret.''

She rolled her eyes

''They might expect payment though...there also an alternative by asking Senator Morindel''

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I can handle payment, as long as it's not too exorbitant. I think that Mandolorian crew is the same one I had in mind though." He paused thoughtfully. "How much do you think I can let them in on?"


He took a sip of his whiskey. "As for the Senator, it's a option... She seems to be a bit of a wild card to me though."

[Cole Ormont]

"What about them Galen? If you mean asking for their help, I can't say that I'd recommend that at all."

Cole tensed visibly.

"I was wondering if they might get in the way, actually."

And relaxed. He watched Z over the rim of his whiskey glass, even he can't know about that already, can he?

[Galen Sol]

"Is everything alright doctor? Do you need a refill?"

[Cole Ormont]

"Just dandy," Cole answered without smiling. He held out his glass, "but sure, I'll take another."

[Galen Sol]

"Coming right up." Galen took the glass, refilled it and handed it back a few moments later.

[Zanebry Varliss]

Z noticed the doctors nervousness but let it pass, he did make a mental note to look into the man's recent activities though.

"Anyone else want a refill?" He asked casually as his eyes swept over the group.

''I'm good thanks''

[Zanebry Varliss]

"So that would put as two, maybe three ships." Z said picking up the conversation once again. "Anything else we need?"
