[D6 - LM] The Everlight

Rumun arrives at the spaceport looking for information about a ship named the Everlight. Somehow that ship is related to the investigation about Haza Kris, the missing Czerka employee.

Remmington tries to take care of his wounds before he shows up. He looks like he had better days. "Sorry that it took me a while to be free to finish this up."

He attempts to reach through to the Force to find the man. Then decides not to.

The Everlight is nothing to special a pretty standard light freighter. A few droids tend to daily maintenance but otherwise there seems to be no activity. Hutt Security stops the duo and says, “This isn’t your ship Imperials. Looks like you got lost.”

OOC: For Heal, Remmington can only use one point per usage to regain 3 wounds and also remember as a Sith he has to flip a Destiny to use the Light side and suffer strain and conflict. You can't activate it multiple times and it counts against the number of stimpacks you can use i a day.

The other guard looks at him and says, "What... just go on."

He looks over to Rumun. "Well let's get moving." As he walks towards the ship.

The ship is being maintained by droids, security was standard and it was locked up tight like any other ship here at Nar Shaddaa.

Niriti steps out of her way, as she had only been following silently behind the men to not interfere in the strange evaluation of the ship. Tech stuff that she is little to nothing interested in. But talking is what she can do, even if it's to a machine.

"Cleared to be in this ship? We are here on official business, droid. Do not get in our way unless you desire to be a pile of metal scraps and wires in the afternoon." They needed the droid to get out of their back, somehow to let them through, but without knowing who the ship belonged to or if Haza was a victim of him, then she could not play that card. She just wished she had brought some disabling mechanism.

Remmington nods. "Thanks Niriti. Well let's get on the ship before anyone else stops us." He moves past the droid and towards the ship in question.

"Should we knock?" He asks his companions.

"That is a bit problematic." Remmington comments as he then tries to slice open the door. He doesn't have much luck there either.

"Should I try opening the door mechanically? I guess a lightsaber is a last resort." He looks to the others.


Slicing locks to the ship. Computers @ hard I guess? If not we can remove/add die = 2 failures, 3 advantage

You don't get the door open but you do learn that it hasn't been opened in about six days and the last time the door opened it was locked by someone named Tiv Jungo, identified as the captain.

It's at this point that several Hutt Security show up and say in Huttese, "This ain't your ship."

"Yes, we know. Everyone keeps saying that. We just came to drop something off but looks like no one is here. Sorry for disturbing you. We'll be on our way now." Remmington replies and moves away from the ship.

When they are some distance away from the security team he reaches out into the Force to find Haza Kris.

He channels the dark side which feels like daggers through the skin. The employee is far away from here.... not possible to walk there.

OOC: You need a ship and you know where to go in general but translating that to the vastness of interstellar space is beyond your mind to convert, you need more definite coordinates and Seek should fill in the rest.

"A little bit. He seems to be off world. The ship was locked 6 days ago by the captain, Tiv Jungo. Given the amount of trouble this is turning out to be. Seems like Czerka must be hiding something." Remmington surmises.

He nods. "Yeah, checking his place for clues will help us with our search. We better hurry too. We are running low on time."
