Trio Tête-à-tête (D6, MM)

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Multi-tasking was always fun, especially when it involved walking, drinking iced caff, texting, and hearing reports at the same time. Or rather... it wasn't exactly how Shaisha wanted to start her day, but sometimes it just had to be done.

"Going to Hutta, right?
Catch you at the Spaceport before you leave?

"Ok. Thanks for the update, Anthy. No, ship still seems whole and I don't think Jitter has done anything more than his usual hijinks. Any word from Borma on his progress?" Shaisha asked to the commlink attached to her ear.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sure. On my way to Kris' ship now.

Sylvain was already walking the last few feet up to the door of docking bay 94. He pressed the button to walk inside and saw the Vindicator sitting there preparing to depart. He held up at the door and leaned against the wall when he saw Shaisha's text. Not knowing if this was a conversation for Kris or not, he figured he'd wait until Shaisha came to make that clear.

Shaisha picked up the pace a little as she checked her datapad for where Kris' ship was, and soon enough arrived at the correct docking bay.

"Alright, Anthy. Now, go get that sleep that I told you to get three hours ago." Shaisha could be seen cutting the call on her commlink as she got up to Sylvain.

"Hey there..." she gave a small, if a little tired smile and took a big gulp of her iced caff. "Busy morning. Can't imagine it's any less hectic in your camp?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded, "Getting ready for Nal Hutta... bit of a briefing with Intelligence. What's up?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Eh, things are still a chaotic mess after the whole Baras dying-thing, and we're trying to stay on top of things. No hard proof, though this Crescent Shadow group is taking the credit, it seems, but I suspect they're merely jumping on a convenient situation to get some fame."

Shaisha sighed. "Yeah, figured you'd be going to Hutta for the wedding-thing. Who's even getting married?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"A high ranking crime boss named Jiv Fango who works under Dango the Hutt, and Ji’yaha Teek, a dancer of Kidaja the Hutt." He replied. "Xevious wants us to attend and provide a good gift to them to show what working with the Empire could lead to... Pretty much tempting the greedy slugs with shiny things." He replied.

"Sorry about the headache Baras is sure to be causing you and your people... I'm trying to track him down. Layne's ship was here... but she wasn't yesterday. I'm having my men look for her; probably the quickest way to find Baras other than your Fixer lady."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"From what I can tell of her, she's been working around the clock too," Shaisha shrugged. Something was off, but she wasn't sure what... maybe she was just tired and tired of being paranoid. Had to show some faith in Paz for having checked up on people.

"Could be she is in Baras' pocket, maybe not. These days I expect most Intelligence agents are in the pocket of one or more Dark Lords..."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Self-preservation is a powerful motivator." He replied with a nod.

"So you came by for a goodbye kiss? Jo'ren not fulfilling your needs?" He said with a chuckle. He was a lot looser than he had been in the past few days, that much would be obvious in the way he spoke and stood.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha stifled a laugh. "A goodbye kiss from you? Don't be silly, Syl. Kris would crush my hand if I did..." she smirked playfully, "and Jo'ren is more than capable of fulfilling my needs. Was a miracle I managed to get out of bed at all."

She took another sip of the caff.

"Though you seem to be in a good mood this morning."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "Is it that obvious? Kris'd probably crush my hand if I were to go into much detail as to why that may be the case."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha raised an eyebrow at that, but her expression otherwise showed that she had a pretty good idea of the details.

"I'm just glad you kids are finally getting together again... guess Kris did take my advice, after all. As did you too, it seems."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He smiled, "For your masterful and subtle molding of our wills I thank you greatly."

He rolled his neck a bit and smiled, "We're in a good place. Nice to have the three of us altogether fully for the days ahead."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Yeah... well, while the three of us might be doing good again between us, I wouldn't say we're in a good place. I have a feeling we're soon going to be going out of the frying pan and into the fire, once the end-game begins on this whole shit." Shaisha sighed and put a hand on her hip.

"... I talked to father last night," she said in a quiet tone, and overall she didn't seem very pleased by it.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He shook his head, "I was referring to Kris and I... And yes, you are right. That is why having us together is so crucial at this moment."

He then tilted his head, "And...?" He asked before interjecting, "Do you wish to share what he said with Kristal as well?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"... Might as well." She sighed. "Let's see if she is home, shall we?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain nodded and began walking up to the ship. He typed a quick message to Kris.

I'm here. Shai's here too, wants to talk.

[Kristal Serasai]

With her mother gone by now, Kristal had finished prepping and moved toward the entry-plank of the ship. Lowering it for her friends as she stood at the top, walking down as it extended the last bit. Meeting them halfway from port to ship.

"Shaisha, Sylvain, a surprise," she said in way of greeting. "I hadn't expected Sylvain for at least another hour."

"'morning, Kris," Shaisha gave a small wave, being considerably more informal in her greeting than Kristal.

"Eh, he's built of tougher stuff than we assumed at first, I guess? At least he's still walking."

Smug grin is smug.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain smiled at Shai's comment and walked up the ramp, "I'm always early. No point in hanging around this cesspool any longer than I need to."

He strode up beside Kristal and wrapped his arm around her half the way and planted a kiss on her lips.

"Good morning." He said with a slight smile as he moved past her into the ship, not lingering too much on the public display of affection for he had no intent on making it some spectacle for Shaisha... he merely wanted to kiss Kris, so he had.

"Gotta room to talk in?"

[Kristal Serasai]

Stunned, was probably the word Shaisha would end up using or some other more flavorful way of describing it. However, Kristal had attempted to form a response to it in the moment just after but couldn't think of one. Having the chance slide by as Sylvain continued his way up into the ship. Looking to Shaisha, for the briefest of moments there was a smile, a light one, but a smile.

Then it was back to normal, "Captain's quarters, my personal space. No one will intrude there."

Shaisha took the moment to return the smile to Kristal as Sylvain completed his drive-by-kiss. "Lead the way, Kris," she said and followed behind her. It was her ship after all.

"Did you get all the pictures of Syl in costume yesterday? Seems like I was right all along that he just needed some eyeliner to make a convincing Lucena Darklight."

[Kristal Serasai]

Walking up the plank after and then past Sylvain she began leading them quickly toward the room as they spoke.

"That really was Sylvain?" she said, looking over to him incredulously. "I had thought you found someone and were merely joking."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Slyvain chuckled, "Probably some other 'subversive' posing as me..."

He patted his pocket, "Whoever that was, they were kind enough to donate their winnings to me. I'm a couple thousand credits richer as a result of Lucena's work."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha chuckled. "Yeah, because you were so poor... How cruel of Baras to suddenly poof and not leaving you anything in his will."

"I trust Marr at least treats our precious shiny Kristal better?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Not being mentioned in Baras' will is probably much better than being in it." He said with a chuckle.

"Kris is Marr's 'Champion' now. I'm sure she could have almost anything she'd like." He smiled as they entered into the captain's quarters after Kris.
