Nar Shaddaa

He was almost ready, supplies had been bought, and all the various odds and ends one needed for a trip, had been triple checked. The picture of Yslane and the note she had left were safely tucked away. Zane would never forget his blueblossom.


Settling into the couch on his ship he sighed, somehow this departure felt really lonely.

There was a knock on the ship door. "It's Jal. I'd like to make a transaction," he said casually.

That was a bit odd. Still Z rose to his feet and cautiously approached the door. A moment later he pressed the switch to allow it to slide open.

"Afternoon Jal."

The Devaronian flashed him a smile and held the chip from earlier up for him. "Trade? I don't have a source on what happened on that station."

"Sure, I'm more aware of what happened there then anyone else. In all probability at least." He agreed nodding his head to tell Jal to come in.

"Then let's deal," he said with a smile. He stepped inside and continued to play with the data chit. "You've been quite busy in general."

"Not busy enough in all likelihood" He replied with a sigh as he led the man inside. "It seems like I need three of me most days."

Arriving in the common room Z motioned for Jal to take a seat as he moved over to the ship's bar. "Anything in particular you wanted to know?"

"Three of you would make the ladies very happy," he joked. He then helped himself to a seat and leaned back. "I did want to know all of it. But I suppose the most important is everyone involved. Character profiling is very important."

"Three of me and panties would start randomly dropping on the streets." Z joked in return, as he poured himself a drink.

"The volunteers were Yslane Tssila, Naveera, Niall Organa, Arali Xian, Baesel Zyn, O'nera Aeser, Cyan Necu, and Master Fes. Mr. Organa also brought along Vera Ordo."

"I hired the crew of the tortoise and HX-S4 a droid. The former to my great disappointment"

"Oh Zanebry. With that mouth, I sometimes wonder what they like about you."

He nodded along. "Alright. Why the regret?"

Zane chuckled as he took a sip of his drink. "My mouth might be what they like about me the most of all." He replied as he ran his tongue across his lips.

"Betrayal, the crew had ties to the sith, deeper then I thought. Durasay Mixo used them to bring a load of Mandolorians in. It cost a friend her life, and another her arm."

"Such a perv," he said with a smirk.

"Who were the injured parties? Which Clans?"

"O'nera Aeser lost her life." He replied with a soft sigh, his expression hardening a moment layer "I'll make Craw Toboga and his crew suffer for it some day... when they thinks I've forgotten."

"Vera Ordo has the other."

"As for the clan, it was a new one? A break off from another I suspect. Called themselves mavnhal? Formerly of kelborn. A bunch of uselessly violent pieces of shit... They're on my list as well."

"O'nera Aeser. Peppy woman but she was a fighter. Same with Vera Ordo; I doubt she'll let it get in the way of her progress." A smile crept on his face. "I'm sure she'll beat herself up over it though."

The Devaronian nodded. "They're a bunch of raiders who care the most about money. They're arrogant, perhaps not as much anymore given their resounding defeat. They might know how to fight but they have no discipline."

"She will, I know it." Z replied with a small sigh. "She shouldn't though, she did well, all things considered."

He didn't mention O'nera, the wound was still a little close. "Ill do what I can to make them regret their lack of discipline in the future, along with the clan Toboga. I have a list of debts building."

He looked over at Jal. "And you know me. I'll make sure they are paid."

"I sure do." Jal put the data chip forward and smirked. "I'd appreciate a detailed report typed up and sent to me via dead drop. But as for the chip, it's honestly worth less to me now that the man is dead." The Devaronian shrugged. "It would have been enough to send Matthias' career plummeting outta the sky, Zanebry. But now, I think its primary use to you is getting you a pardon from the Galactic Republic."

"Thanks my friend, I'll send my report that way. I don't know if I'll join the republic again." He smirked. "They have flaws after all."

"Moving independently has its advantages as well. I might try to turn this onto funds... Use it to help people where I can."

"Won't be easy though."

The Devaronian shrugged. "Can't be a wanderer forever, Zanebry." With that said, he got to his feet and started heading to the ramp. "Think on it."

"True, but I don't know if I can ever return to what I was doing, Matthias is gone, but it's only a matter of time before someone fills his shoes."

"I suppose straight military is a possibility though..."

He sighed. "I'll think on it though."

"Maybe that man could be you. Doubt it though. Many other people in that chain of command."

Jal paused at the exit. "Oh and I guess this is goodbye. I thought I'd see you in a casket sooner than I'd parting ways."

"Yup, and most of them would probably be better at it then me to boot." He offered with a soft chuckle.

"I dunno about goodbye, maybe I'll see you again?" He offered with a shrug. "As for the casket you'll probably see me in it one day, for the moment thoghu lady luck still loves me too much."

"Though she isn't always happy with me."

As Jal paused at the exit it, someone else came up. A small woman, dark hair and pale features - paler than usual, even for her. "Zanebry? Oh, hey, Life Coach."

The hair was different, but it was easy enough to recognize Luth as who she was. "Luth, so good do see you." He looked her over a moment. "You look good by the way. I like the hair."

"Seems you've met my friend here...So I'll skip introductions. How have you been by the way?"

Jal looked at Luth and then raised his brow. "Nice haircut."

"I'll feel better about it once it's cleaned up a bit," she says with a sigh, shaking her head. "Well, you could. It would be nice to have a name."

"Well... It's good to see you, but the reason isn't so great. May I come in?"
