Nar Shaddaa

The crew of the light freighter is rudely awakened or bothered by someone beating on the entrance to the ship. Outside a crew of thugs, criminals, and killers mill about and the dock crew have made themselves scarce. A woman shouts at the Starcross.



"I don't give a damn who your aunt is Hutt, I want my money!" she shouts.

"Captain, you have a visitor. And, she has a lot of friends." Galen called out as he assessed the crowd through a viewport. "Eight, can you get a full count?"

Aphr frowned as she peered out. "Well, this doesn't look good" she commented "I don't know this one, anyone seen her before?"

The Captain shakes his head indicating not knowing the person .

Xierreau activates the outside comm "I am sure something can be worked out civilly and calmly, perhaps you could be more specific?"

"You cost me 20,000 credits worth of merchandise! You think can steal from me... no not in this life," she growls.

The Hutt leans on the com button "I think I need a little more information then that, what do you think we took and when? Were we doing a job for you that I am not familiar with?"

"Kintan," she hisses.

Eight's chest rumbled in amusement. "Xierreau, keep near the pilot controls, I'm heading to the Auto blaster now." The droid chimed in on the conversation. Moving through the ship, the droid got into position and looked out the viewport to get a sense of just how many enemies they had here and what their loadout might be.

"I just returned from Kintan, are you claiming we delivered the wrong package?" he is at the bridge station prepared as he speaks on the comm.

Meanwhile, Galen reached out with the Force, trying to get a sense of how many were out there. The area was clouded with anger and darkness, however, and he pulled back. Instead, he slid his goggles into place and waited for whatever would happen.

D3, LM, Activate Sense: 1eF 1 Dark Side

There are 15 thugs near enough to the ship not to generate a targeting solution.

"You have minutes or we start using charge to open this rust bucket. I can be reasonable... as long as I get my money," she says in a tone that sounds anything but reasonable.

I hate it when they're clever. Should have put an anti-personel gun on this thing. "Too close to blast with the guns." Eight stated, heading back to the cockpit.

"Maybe we can sell her the jawa." The droid says with some amusement.

Aphr moved close to Galen, and very quietly whispered "can you make them move a little further away? Using the force I mean."

She wished she could do something more at this point.

He shook his head. "Not that many. I could confuse one or two, or something, but there are way too many."

"Only need to move the leader" she smiled "once she's gone, problem is basically solved."

"I can try." he shrugged. "Hopefully, it doesn't piss her off more."

Closing his eyes, he focused on the angry woman, trying to calm her and help her find peace and understanding.

OOC: Do you have increased range on Influence? At least Medium for this work and also need a Discipline check versus 2 Difficulty and a Red Dice.

OCC: Nope. I just have the basic power. I was assuming she was the one banging on the ship and thought that might be close enough. Oh well.

She was harder to influence than most, but not like Aphr had been.

The woman calms down and says, “Look I won’t shoot you, but we should discuss this matter like business people. You owe me money and now you can make it up to me… then we can be square.”

"Captain, Aphr and I are going to talk to her. We'll see if we can sort this out." he called over the commlink. Looking to Aphr, he waited for her agreement before meeting with the woman.

"We'll keep the door open for ya." Eight mentioned as he took up a position near the door, just in case. He was not happy with the notion of owing these sleemos 20,000 credits. Better to take their chances in killing them all. He'd gotten a few of his grenades out in preparation.

"I know you'll take care of things, Eight." He nodded and stepped outside.

He walked up to the strange woman. "Obviously, we did a job that crossed with your interests. It happens to all of us. What can we do to rectify this problem?"

“Well you can pay me what I am owed but if not then you can do me a solid,” she says in a calm tone.

“I got a shipment of fresh slaves coming in from a buyer, they will meet you at Seven Devils to avoid the Hutt fees. Take the shipment and bring it to Nal Hutta and we can say the debt is settled,” she finishes.

“Do not damage the merchandise.”
