One blaster shot in the head could solve it... but the Wraith had reasons to choose another approach. When there was only her and Lusini, she walked out.

"Would you consider what happened yesterday an accomplishment or a malpractice? Until recently what you had been doing was shrouded, now leaders like you shine like an opal." The Red Wraith spoke calmly, using the acquired codewords.

"I have no idea what you are talking about," she says putting a hand to her hip.

"I think you do, you are quite opposite of a dummy. You know why you've been hiding. I have a safe place for you, a place we can talk. Doing funny things will spoil your chance though."

"Seems like going with a sinister stranger would classify as a funny thing in my book," the scholar responds.

Lishani is quiet and then says, "Fine, but don't make me regret this."

"You won't. Let's move to my freighter, we'll be able to talk safely there."

The scholar follows along a little bit less on edge but still alert.

Moyr guided her discreetly [Stealth if needed] to her hangar, and the to the ship. Once there, she sighed audibly. "Okay, feel like a guest, Lishani. If you're hungry or thirsty, I'll get you something."

"Just tell me what this is all about," she says taking a seat and waiting for the purpose of this encounter.

"What kind of scholar are you? I don't get why that fat slug is so mad at you."

"I do historical research and social economics, tends to be a subject that focuses on the injustices done to the many species in Hutt space," she responds.

"And places like Ryloth as well? We're not technically in Hutt Space but the suffocating presence of the Hutt mining and slaver industries is basically what Evocar must have been. Your past might be the future of my people if we don't stand up." Moyr sat opposite to the scholar and took the mask off, casting the lekku to the back, sighing. "I want to know about Black Witches, and the Black Tree. The Force has protected you once."

"I have no idea what that has to do with social injustice," she says thoroughly confused by the switch in the conversation.

"Power has a lot to do with social injustice as it affects the powerless the most. You said you were a historian. I look for precedents of strength in your past, an example of those who didn't yield to Hutt encroachment. The living need icons to go on. You aspire to be such an icon maybe. But it's not enough."

“So your suggestion is to turn to the unpredictability of the Force. As much as I find the Hutts and their exploitation deplorable the history of the galaxy is one of violence between two religious sects bent on the annihilation of the other because they can’t see eye to eye on space magic,” she says derisively.

“Billions die because two simple codes are anathema to each other.”

"But weren't the Black Witches not a different tradition, not falling into the bipolar antagonism you so deplore?" Moyr was willing to indulge her for now.

“Maybe?” she says trying to follow the conversation.

"Looks like you're not a historian of your own people then." Moyr frowned. "So you feel like a galactic citizen then, rather than a patriot? I wonder about your thoughts on the Crescent Shadow then."

“I don’t support terrorism, I understand their reasons but violence of that nature is abhorrent,” she counters.

“I have studied much of Evocii history, just never heard of this stuff. There is a great deal of mythology that needs to sifted through, I focus more on the reality than superstition.”

"All right. Then I would like to know how the societies and polities of Evocar were organised before the Hutts came. Or is it too much legendary prehistory for you, and you're just in it for the critique of colonialism?" Moyr teased with a small smile.

“That’s a big question though, like any world especially pre-interstellar space flight, politics was fragmented between nation states often separated by geological and arbitrary boundaries. Identity was formed by regional differences that had more to do with environmental differences that spurned cultural diffusion. Breaking that all down into a short and sweet sound bite is not easy. But since you seem to have a an affinity for Force traditions I can shed some light there,” she responds after some thought and rambling.

"If I am following, you're suggesting that a Force tradition could have developed in correspondence with environmental factors on Evocar, like some natural places of vergence or living things aligned closer with the Force. That would be my intuition too. The question is where on Evocar such environments or species existed. Hmmm. Please, continue."

"Why do you care about any of this, what is that you do or are looking for?" she replies.

"Because I want to find the place and retrieve what is still left of this tradition. On my Hutt-abused planet I was despised by my own family because of my Force sensitivity, and sold as a sex slave to be rid of. It is only by fortuitous circumstance and my own defiance that I have managed to turned my social fate around and go through a proper training in the Force. I could not be a witch on Ryloth, but I found pieces of myself on Korriban, and I found pieces of myself on Yavin. Evocar is my next step. And if by this I gain the way to may the Hutts pay for the civilisations they have broken and abused in their relentless greed, all the better. Call it a mixture of self-discovery, vendetta and support of an emancipatory cause."
