HMV [His Master's Vase] (D3, MM)

After his to to Nem'ro's palace, which would inevitably cause grief further down the line, Jo'ren took the Terror Star back up to Nar Shaddaa. Placing the vase on the table along with his notes, he called up the information on ancient sith dialects that was available in the ship's database. It might not be enough but it was a start.
Maybe Malak himself could read it? He activated the Holocron and waited for the gatekeeper.

Malak appears and says, “It seems you have been hard at work, have you found something worthy of my interest?”
OOC: Knowledge Lore check at Average with a Boost die for deciphering the vase.

The words are written in an ancient Sith dialect, but he can make out that they are directions to a place where Revan left a seed of the Star Forge in case he may need it in the future. This seems early on as the script has errors that he corrects due to Lord Savas training and more importantly it is easy for him to find where to go on Nar Shaddaa.
Of course it mentions that Revan placed defenses that only he could pass.
Malak says, “Good, what is the next step.”

Jo'ren had considered a few options.
"As I see it there are two options my Lord. The first is to simply charge in and attempt to take what Revan left behind. We have the location and we know there are defenses. Perhaps you have knowledge relevant to bypassing them?"
He looked at the datapad.
"The second is to gather more information about Revan and what sort of defenses, and bypass codes, he would have used. Did the two of you have a base in the system, or close by, that might contain such information? Either way, I will need to determine which sector the map leads to, and who controls it."
He started searching for that very information while Malak decided what to tell him.

Black Sun controls that region a small neighborhood, dominated by Duros, in the Network District. It is a pretty strong hand though the Hutt Cartels have been pushing back from time to time.
Malak says, “We had a place on Nal Hutta, it may have more information of what you seek. A safehouse, though with the waning centuries it is probably in disrepair.”
Malak offers coordinates which is deep in the Nal Hutta wilderness and will almost certainly require Hutt permission or a skilled smuggler.

Duros made him think of Rumun Gol, perhaps there was an opportunity there. In any case he would deal with that problem when the time came.
"Excellent, thank you my Lord. I shall investigate it for further clues."
He looked to see which Hutt claimed nominal control of that that region and, on a whim, sent a message to his old friend Kalen. 'Yo, K-man. How's tincan? Any chance you guys are still on Nar Shaddaa?'

The force was clearly on his side. He responded right away:
'Sure do old pal. Should be nice and simple like last time. Tomorrow work for you?' He backed up 'tomorrow' with an indication of the Galactic standard time.

Another reply:
Sounds like a plan, meet at the Yellow Cantina, I got a thing to handle, what time is good for you?
OOC: We can work out the time.

'You're on. Let's meet at <insert time here>.'
Satisfied with the way this was going Jo'ren returned to Darth Malak. "Good news my Lord. I can be at the location tomorrow. I shall inform you of my findings as soon as I return."
OOC: MM is taken, we can figure out a suitable slot once dayflip happens

"May the Force serve your desires," Malak replies and the holocron closes.

"Indeed."
He watched the Holocron thoughtfully for a few seconds and opened the ship-wide comms.
"Too-vee, I'm heading planet side tomorrow. Going to need one of your infamous vitamin bombs."
