"A nice, brunch meeting then." Of course, this was dependent on him surviving his appointment later at night.

He wouldn't worry her about it. "See what everyone thinks of the plan, get their input. I'll admit, my mind isn't one hundred percent focused on the planning." He found himself looking directly into the Senator's eyes.

She smiles a genuine smile.

"I'm glad to hear it. Though, I hope you understand that this particular encounter isn't a regular thing."

She rests her head on his shoulder.

"I wouldn't mind giving you an extra show in person sometime though..."

"Hey. I completely understand. When on Alderaan, do as the Alderaanians do." He was caught off guard by her last statement.

Certainly wasn't an unwelcome one. "I wouldn't mind receiving an extra show sometime. Could I get your comm information? Or give you mine? Which ever works best for you, Senator."

She smiles and closes her eyes, just resting her head on the mans shoulder.

"When I'm not working, ill make sure it gets to you. Or you can always stop by the Republic Compound. I'm almost always around for evenings and nights."

"Republic Compound. Most evenings and nights. Good to know." He breathed in slowly as the Senator rested on him.

He was beginning to think he could get used to that feeling. "Think they'd find it odd a gunslinger like me would be calling for you?"

"You haven't done much digging on me, have you?"

"Maybe I wanted to get the opportunity to know you, before researching you. Makes friendships easier." He grinned widely, leaning back into the chair, pulling her back with him.

Adrianaa follows the motion without resistance.

"Well, remember the callsign I used when we fought the pirates? Swamp Dog? That is me. I have a lot of dealing sin the criminal underworld. Mostly the Black Sun. So having a merc or a hired gun show up for me is pretty much expected at this point. What about yourself? Anything I should know?"

"Well, you've only heard from one other member of my crew. The pilot and owner of the Tortoise, Nudimsu. Then there is the one that I mentioned to Kyr'ad, Craw. There's a little baggage there, but nothing bad."

He mused for a moment, thinking, pondering. "I have a bad tendency of getting into high risk situations, and dragging people I care about into things like that. Though you might have figured that out."

"The bigger the risk, the bigger the reward. THough, also the bigger the failures when they do happen. None of us are invincible after all."

She pauses for a moment.

"Will there be any issues between Craw and Kyr'ad? He's the one who will lend me his squad to fight.."

Now that was very interesting. "I don't see a problem. Mandolorians on a job are professional. Any issues would be resolved after."

He had to laugh again. "Rewards. Right. I might be the worst mercenary you've ever met. I find myself going more for... moral rewards."

[Adrianaa Morindel]

"Is that so? I'm surprised I haven't ran across you and your crew before then. I may deal with some of the worst people in the underworld, but it's always for some sort of good cause. Tell me, are you favorable to the Republic?"

[Durasay Mixo]

"I think the Republic might be the best chance for peace and freedom in the galaxy. There are issues that I have, but on the whole, yes. I favor the Republic." Leaning his head against hers, he knew time here was running out.

"In another life, I might have been a part of your Navy, or even a Jedi."

[Adrianaa Morindel]

"Navy and we might have worked together. Jedi, and I'd probably not be talking to you right now."

"I love the Republic. The freedom. The sense that anyone can become anything, and that the people get to have a say in everything we do. It has its flaws, but I want to see it strive. That's why I associate with so many of the people I do. But I have two rules. No kids and no slaves. Ever."

"Well, that makes me doubly glad I was never brought in by the order for training." He chuckled a but before turning somber.

No kids? He never even thought about that. This life wasn't one for family.

"Two easy rules. I abhor slavery, and be honest, do I look like a family man to you?"

She smirks

"Well you never know. I mean, I've always seen the crew on my ship as family. I thought perhaps another captain would think the same."

"Well, they are my family. But this isn't a life for kids. Especially with... well everything." He smirked back.

"And Captain? It's funny. Every single member of my crew has held the rank of Captain, somewhere. Though it never sounded as nice as it did just now."

"Don't fall in love now. Remember, words are what I do. I know how to make things sound good."

She opens her eyes and sits up, giving a wink.

"No games though, this was nice"

"You're not the only one who's good with words, Senator. After all, I talked a pirate queen into not immediately killing us all." He winked back to her.

"It was. I'll hold you to that other dance sometime. Though I think I'll be committing this to memory."

"And maybe something outside the bedroom as well? It has been ages, but I also like the rest of what comes with a romp. You might even call it a date. A bit odd, considering you've seen everything already, but..."

She shrugs

"I'd like that, too. Dinner, drinks? Maybe take in a HuttBall game?" He was sincere as he spoke.

"We can talk about that later, though. Whenever you'd like, really."

"Surprise me. I like spontaneous. Hell, I only learned about this place a few hours ago, and now here I am, dancing away for all to see"
