A bit of shopping? (D1 LM)

[Aphr Ahaya]

"As much as I love to fly" Aphr said to her shopping companion as she walked towards the district, hearing the sounds and seeing the sights "I do enjoy being back on solid land. Don't you?"

They hadn't landed that long ago, but it hadn't stopped Aphr and Zane moving to see the sights once Aphr had finished her landing duties.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Yes, it's nice to see the sky for a change, instead of a ceiling a couple feet above our heads." He replied easily as he kept pace with the shorter woman. "Not to mention being able to chat, without wondering if someone will walk in every few moments." He glanced at her and offered a smile.

"Was there anywhere you were wanting to go?"

[Aphr Ahaya]

"You did seem to lack privacy with that Jedi sharing your room" Aphr said with a slight tease in her voice "did you two have much to talk about? Mind you, she made quite good tea, I was worried I might be replaced if she was to travel with us more."

She considered the final question, and then shook her head. "I just wanted to browse. I can't afford anything new after all, unless you intend to spoil me" a sweet smile at that.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"We worked things out well enough, we both probably saw a little more of each other then is technically appropriate though." He mused his tone slightly teasing. "I don't think you have much to worry about though. She is nice enough, and we had some enjoyable conversations, buy I prefer pink over lavendar."

"As long as it's not too expensive, I can spoil you at least a little. Should we find you a new dress perhaps?"

[Aphr Ahaya]

"I'm not worried" she quickly replied, although there was a sweet smile at his words "she didn't seem your type anyway. I would certainly not complain about new dresses! As long as I had reasons to wear them, right?"

She tucked her hands behind her back, walking along happily. She had so much to do today, and she had slept badly again. Zane was the perfect remedy for this.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I suppose we could arrange a night out dancing." He replied thoughtfully. "Or a nice dinner if you prefer."

He offered the younger woman a soft smile, as he directed their walk towards a nearby store. "I'm willing to listen if you have other suggestions though."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"You dance?" Aphr asked, very curious at that "I'll have to check with Xero, but I'd certainly like to see that. Now we will have to find the perfect dancing dress and accessories."

She looked to the first store, peeking into the window.

"Getting this out of the way before the large amount of visitors arriving was a good idea as well."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Of course I dance, I'm honestly surprised more men don't. Mind you it's not the kind of dancing like you would find in Shadows, but I could probably manage that to, if that's what you prefer."

As she opened in the first window he slipped beside her. "Anything look tempting?"

"You are right though, the streets are bound to be even more packed by this time tomorrow."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"What kind of dancing do you do then? I've never really danced...except when it helped with meeting a client for a job. Which was a strange one, but it worked" she chuckled, stepping away from the store "these dresses are all like...quite expensive looking."

The dresses did seem rather good for the area - evening dresses, full length ones. Most likely fake knock-offs of the ones in the higher levels.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Slow dancing mostly, the type of thing you see in some of the lounges around here, i find it a bit more sensual then what you find in a club, and I enjoy it a lot more. I could teach you though , if your interested?"

He looked at the dresses briefly, before nodding his head towards the door. With the stitching in these he could maybe drive the price down quite a bit. "No harm in looking though, if nothing else you can try a few on, and it could be the prices wont be too high."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"I'd like that" Aphr said with a nod "it sounds quite interesting. I've never been anywhere that does that though, where would you even dance like that in Nar Shaddaa?"

She followed Zane in, curiosity showing on her face as she admired the flowing rich-people dresses

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I know a few places, I'll take you by one one of these nights." It would need to be a bit later in the evening though.

"See any you wish to try on?" He asked as they casually browsed the selection.

[Aphr Ahaya]

"Too many" Aphr laughed "I'm not sure what would suit me though. Never owned a dress like these...well, ever."

She stopped by a selection of what looked like quite elegant evening gowns, looking through them.

"Any you recommend?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"You'd likely look good in any of them Babe, I'll see what I can find though."

He moved towards the racks, looking for a few cuts of gown he thought would suit the curvy young woman. "Any colors you would prefer? Or should I decide that as well?"

[Aphr Ahaya]

"Hm...well pink might be awkward, as my skins already pink" she laughed "black maybe? Or red? Or...blue."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I think red would compliment you well, black wouldn't be bad either. Blue in the right shade might be nice, or perhaps a pale grey, if they have it in the right cloth."

He pursed his lips together thoughtfully, before beginning his selection of dresses, he'd pick a half dozen or so in different cuts and colors, some daring, others more subdued.

"How are you in heels?" He asked as he started to lead her towards the changing rooms.

[Aphr Ahaya]

"Heels?" Aphr shrugged "first time for everything!" she tried to peek at some of the dresses, quite excited for this. Zane knew the best fashions!

[Zanebry Varliss]

"We will have to get you some practice in some then." He murmured as they arrived at the changing rooms. Offering her the various dresses he nodded towards the door.

"Why don't you go try these on." He grinned. "Don't forget to show me how they look though, and if you need any help, let me know."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"I'm sure I can handle clothes" Aphr said with a laugh, taking the first few and entering the rooms. The first one tried on was too big, and she frowned slightly. The second one however, a red dress that was a little tight but seemed nice. She opened the curtain.

"What do you think of this dress?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Wow." He mumured in appreciation, taking a few moments to thoroughly look her over. "You look simply ravishing in that Aphr my dear."

A wicked little smile played across his lips. "I can't imagine how I'd be able to hold myself back, if you came out dancing looking like that."

[Aphr Ahaya]

Aphr laughed, a grin on her face. "Should I assume this one is a winner then?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"It is." He said with a nod. "Did you wish to try on any of the others? Or are you happy trying just this one?" The decision was in her hands.

[Aphr Ahaya]

"Well, this one did almost render Zanebry speechless, but you did pick the others out...I should at least give them a chance to see if one does the job better, no?" Aphr said, grinning more.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"At the very least, I'd enjoy it if you did." He offered with a playful grin. "It's not every day I get a lovely lady to model eveningwear for me after all."

[Aphr Ahaya]

Aphr nodded, slipping in with the remaining dresses. None of them lived up to that red dress, and she sighed as she tried on the last one. She thought to at least give him the sight of her in one more. so she slips out in a simple blue number.

"Well?" she asked
