"I would think that would be obvious, my lord, or do I have to spell it out for the Sith," he says.

"I was lead to believe you could read minds and sense emotions."

"I have the ability to sense some base emotional state," she said, "not unlike a skilled diplomat. However, I have no intention to do so without great reason."

There was a smirk, the vanguard of a tease, "Of course, Cipher, that would require my target to also possess emotions."

"I have emotions... sometimes I force myself to cry, or smile," he offers in his defense.

Kristal smirked at that, then said in response, "I do believe natural emotions, the ones most speak of, are usually not forced, Cipher."

"Yesterday I was three different people, I don't always have time for genuine emotions. I do have time for genuine partners though," he says with usual detached charm.

"Then I can assure you, Cipher, if I were to use my ability to sense your emotions I would hardly come back with anything telling," she said in response. "However with such a bold claim I must wonder what your intentions are for these partners of yours. If you do not have time for genuine emotions."

"Depends on the partner, I don't let many in, only the exceptions," he says.

"And I continue to be an exception? I wonder why that is, precisely," she wondered. "Surely not merely because I survived?"

[Cipher-3]

"I just find you adorable," he says with a slight tease.

"But seriously I think we both know there is an attraction, perhaps to danger... or perhaps to things most unlike ourselves. Whatever it is, I see no reason not to explore it."

"You know of my relationship with Sylvain Torsin," she says, deflecting. "What it was, what it became... perhaps even the mess that it is now."

"You still hold a flame for him?" he says with a glance.

"Are you so surprised?" she asked, looking to Cipher-3.

"Surprised is a word I could use, mystified is another," he replies.

"Well I am not one to judge your life decisions."

"Make your judgement," she said, relaxing into her seat. "If you do not wish to still I ask that you allow yourself to humor me."

"I am a professional spy, sex and romance are nothing more than tools to me at the best of times. I base my connections are something more than the physical," he says honestly.

"I also know that I am not qualified to offer romance advice."

"It is of no matter, regardless of Sylvain," she said, thinking on it for a moment, "I am honestly not prepared for such a thing, Cipher. As entertaining, as interesting as I find you. Perhaps even with the man who has made me this way."

"I expect that truth will remain with you alone," she said looking back.

[Cipher-3]

"That is a rather muted rejection," he says chuckling.

"This never has been my strong suit," she commented on that note with a sigh that only showed in her shoulders.

"I am sorry if you feel I have wasted your time, Cipher," she offered as well.

"Not at all, just surprised. Your heart is far more guarded then I had imagined," he responds.

[Kristal Serasai]

"Because I am Sith?" she asks, raising a brow. Wondering what made him think that she was any different than she was. Perhaps she had unwittingly suggested it given their relationship thus far, but she wasn't sure. Kristal was a woman who liked to be sure.

"As you say my lord, forgive my impertinence," he responds professionally.

Kristal went to correct him, but did not see the point. It wouldn't change anything to chase the topic, after all. Dropping the matter she let her true hand rest against her leg as she glanced out of the car's window to everything speeding by in a flash.
