No time for Satisfaction. (Day 3 Early Night The Hollow)

[Nekoinu]

"Oi, I wouldn't have laughed if they beat you to death. But you're alive and still functional." She cracked her knuckles. "Can make it not the most recent too if you'd like."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Well thank you for that much at least." He smirked and glanced at her knuckles. "I'm willing to take a beating Vera, but at the very least it requires a dance first."

[Nekoinu]

Vera retook her glass and shrugged. "Guess I won't be beating you then, Zanebry." She then let out a small chuckle and shook her head. "You're an idiot."

[Zanebry Varliss]

He couldn't but but grin. "Yes I am, but at least I'm a handsome idiot." Bringing his drink to his lips he emptied, and set in on the bat, raising to fingers in a signal to Talor to come over. "Were you wanting something else? Or are you goign to nurse that one for a while more?"

[Nekoinu]

"Truth is, I don't very much care for it. It's not bad just not really my thing." She sipped it and then shook her head. "You're not figuring out what I like either."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I'll suppose I'll just have to keep guessing then." He mused considering her for a few moments. He turned towards Talor. "Could you make a cosmopolitan for the lady? And I'd like a gin martini, dry."

[Nekoinu]

Vera eyed the new drink and sipped it. "What, do you think I'm this girly?" She let out a chuckle. "I think my sister might appreciate this more than me."

[Zanebry Varliss]

He smiled slyly. "Honestly? I think you're a bit more girly then you let on. Tgats not why I picked the drink though."

"I just figured that color would look good on you." He indicated the red drink. "And this was likely the only way I'd get to see it."

[Nekoinu]

"Oi I can be girly sometimes. Not as much as my sister though." She wavered for a moment. "Probably not a good thing to tell her."

Vera nodded. "You're right. Closest you'll ever get, Zanebry." She shot him a smirk and sipped her new drink.

[Zanebry Varliss]

He raised an eyebrow. "That you can girly?" His lips spread into a small frown. "I'd have thought she would of known."

He sighed. "That's too bad, I saw this red dress earlier that would of been perfect for you."

[Nekoinu]

"No, no, I meant that she's girly." She took a sip from her drink and thought nothing more on it.

"I think you're starting to want that punch in the face," she continued with a perked brow.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I know." He chuckled. "I just can't quite believe she doesn't admit it." Bringing his drinks to his lips he took a sip, turning to offer a warm smile to Vera.

"I thought we agreed that was only after a dance?" He asked somewhat innocently. "If you want me to back off I will though. I just want you to be aware I think of you as a woman worth flirting with."

[Nekoinu]

She shrugged. "I think she still wants us all to know she could shoot us dead before we could blink."

Her cheeks turned a bit pink, enough where she chose to hide her face with her drink. "Yeah, yeah. I'd call you a liar but you'd correct me and all that."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I don't think those two things are mutually exclusive." He shook his head. "To each their own though."

"I am a liar Vera my dear, about a lot of things, this just isn't one of those." He took a sip of his drink and offered her a warm smile. "Why else do you think I've bought you two drinks?"

[Nekoinu]

"If there's anything to know about my sister, it's that she's a weird person."

Vera shrugged. "Best way to placate someone who wants to punch you in the face is to give them liquor." A pause. "Well, at least that applies to me."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Perhaps she is a bit now that you mention it." His eyes drifted to her and he smiled. "At the very least you're much more straight forward."

He raised his glass to his lips to hide his smile, though it was still evident n his eyes as he replied. . "Should I use that as an excuse to buy you drinks sometime in the future?"

[Nekoinu]

"Yuuuuup." Vera shook her head. "I'm her kriffing sister and I don't understand her most of the time."

The Mandalorian shrugged. "If you want, as long as you don't expect anything from me in return."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"That's probably not all that strange though. I doubt my own siblings understand me most days." not that he had talked to any of his family in the last few years.

"I don't do what I do because I expect something in return from every woman I meet Vera. I just like to be in the presence of beautiful things. Occasionally things develop in that direction though, and I've never been one to argue with it."

[Nekoinu]

Vera cradled her drink for a moment and then let out a small laugh. "One day I'll meet someone who understands their siblings."

She rolled her eyes and looked him over. "I feel like that's your way of admitting you're a pervert, Zanebry."

[Zanebry Varliss]

He smirked. "You make them sound like some sort of rare animal."

"Almost every man I've met is a pervert Vera, some of us are just more classy about it."

[Nekoinu]

"Maybe it's only animals that get along with siblings. Even then, doubt it."

The woman groaned and pushed away her drink. "Men are the worst," she said with utter seriousness.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I used to get along with mine, that's changed a bit over the years though." He shrugged. "I suppose that's the way of the world though."

As she groaned he smiled slightly. "I won't deny that Vera."

[Nekoinu]

She shook her head and sighed. "Stay away from my sister." She adjusted her jacket and started to walk away. "And thanks for the drink, Zanebry.'

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Anytime darlin' " He offered her a smile and a wave before returning to his drink."
