Golden Opportunities (Day 1 Mid-Afternoon, expecting)

[Zanebry Varliss]

"A little of both in all likelihood, and maybe a few others things as well." He mused as he returned to eating. "Were you looking to engage in any other money making schemes while you were here though? You mentioned Huttball, but who knows. Maybe there is something else we can work together on?"

[Arsele Girard]

"I have a bounty I will be tracking down after lunch here..." she says as she takes another bite, "Though I cannot ask for your help on that."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Understandable." The cheaper ones were hardly worth splitting anyways, well unless you just wanted the company. "I was thinking about looking into some of those myself if I can find the time, they can be worth a good amount of money after all."

"But I might just leave it for tomorrow."

[Arsele Girard]

"Well, you already know I'm short on cash; Drastically so after this morning. So I needed something short term, even if it's only five hundred."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Five hundred isn't bad." It would get you through a few days if you were frugal. "I can't name a day I haven't needed a extra five hundred after all. Heck if I spent the whole days dealing cards at Sol's I might not match that."

He offered her a warm smile. "Not every job can pay thousands of credits after all, no matter how much we might wish it."

"True. But docking is three hundred a cycle, rent another two fifty, then there is food and drink... five hundred s nice, but it still feels like chump change."

She shakes her head.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I forgot you kept a apartment as well." He said with a shake of his head. "I'd offer you a room at my place; no strings attached, If I thought you would accept."

He offered her a small smile. "It's not much worse then those tiny apartments, and come swith a free bar."

"There's something so... distasteful about sleeping in a ship to me. I mean, I could sleep on my own if I wanted... Perhaps it's my noble upbringing speaking there though."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I can understand that, maybe I've just gotten used to it over the years. Of course that may be the Navy brat in me talking." He offered her a small smile.

"Too many years on a ship and nothing else feels quite like home."

[Arsele Girard]

"Mmm... I suppose I ~might~ feel different if I had a freighter like you. But I like not needing a copilot or such for my errands off world. Or if I wasn't essentially using my ship as storage, thus making my apartment less cramped."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Personally I just use a couple droids. I can understand though, sometimes I envy that little ship of yours. Not the space mind you, I guess it just seems fun to fly?"

"I do admit to considering a apartment a few times, but I think I'd want something more then basic. Which might be a touch too expensive for me."

[Arsele Girard]

"It's one thing or the other really; Buying and upkeeping droids and a bigger ship, or using the credits on an apartment. Same difference in many ways."

Salad done Arsele set down her fork.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I suppose you are right about that." Zane replied finishing his meal a few moments after the woman across from him. "How did you like it? I hope it served as a fine meal after a long journey through hyperspace."

[Arsele Girard]

She chuckled, "~Infinitely~ better than heatbox meals in hyperspace. And pretty good for the district too; You picked a good place Zanebry."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I'm glad you enjoyed it, perhaps I'll have to ask you to join me here again sometime." He wouldn't be able to take another girl here after all, at least not for a while.

He leaned back picking up his glass of wine and taking a sip. "Or I could let you pick next time."

[Arsele Girard]

"Either way. Though I might actually feel a tiny bit guilty if I were to let you take me out too much. Just a teensy bit though."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"You don't need to mind it." He said with a soft chuckle. "I don't make money to tuck it away."

His tone turned teasing, his lips curling into a playful smile. "If you are ever feeling especially guilty though, I've heard that giving your benefactor a kiss on the cheek dispels such feeling."

Arsele arched an eyebrow, "Kiss on the cheek hm? That wasn't how I heard it certainly."

[Zanebry Varliss]

He chuckled lightly. "Now I'm interested... How exactly did you hear it?"

[Arsele Girard]

"That, Zaney-boy, is a secret."

She gave one of her infuriatingly charming smirks before scooting her chair back a little.

"For now though, I need to change into something less casual... I have a Mandolorian to go shoot."

[Zanebry Varliss]

He smirked. "I suppose one day I might be lucky enough to find out then."

Raising to his feet, he moved around the table and offered her his hand to help her stand. "Would you allow me to escort you to your cab? Or would you perhaps prefer a rickshaw again?"

"Cab this time I think; Quite the hike to the docks otherwise."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Cab it is then." Offering her his arm, he moved moved towards the door when she was ready, pausing a few moments to pay the bill via datapad as the waitress approached. Arsele could peek if she liked, but Z had no intention of showing her what he paid

Before they went outside, he retrieved his umbrella and would leave her under the awning as he opened it and stepped onto the curb to hail her a cab. "As always Arsele, it's been a pleasure."

And it was none of her business.

At the door, as the cab pulled up, she gave him a smile and turned to face him directly, "Thanks for the meal then. And the talk. See you... hm, tomorrow then?''

He returned her smile with one of his own. "Tomorrow."

"And good luck with the bounty, beautiful."
