Sweet Serande Pt 1 (Day 2 LE Solmillos)

[Yslane Tssilla]

She blanched at that, "I don't look like a tourist...I look like what I am: an off duty civil servant." Yslane took another sip of her drink. "This is actually quite good." She taps the glass, "Thank you."

[Zanebry Varliss]

He smiled, perhaps to lessen the blow. "That you do my dear, you dress much like all the civil servants I used to see when they were off duty on Coruscant." He took a sip of his watered whiskey. "But out here, on our curious little moon, that makes you look like a tourist. Which is why I intended to show you some clothing shops while out shopping."

As she complemented the drink, his lips curled into a warm smile. "I'm glad you like it, if you decide to order it again, I would suggest you do so like I did. Normally they are quite a bit more potent."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"More potent?" She studies the glass, "I see."

Yslane sighs at the first bit of his comment, "Fair enough....I suppose that does make me conspicuous on a planet where that could be dangerous? At least if the rumors surrounding the planet are true." She taps the glass a moment then adds, "I hope you don't think you can convince me to put on a dress like your fellow entertainer. Not that it isn't a lovely dress."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Yes, I asked for yours with less liquor and a bit more time in the shaker, to water it down more. I hope you don't mind?"

"A little bit, and even without the current rumors, I have to admit this moon can be dangerous, though honestly I can say the same about most places I have been." He chuckled at her comment. "While I think you would look lovely in a outfit like that; especially with those legs you are hiding, that wasn't my intention."

"If there was to be a dress, I'd suggest something a bit more subdued, you're a professional woman after all. But mostly it would be things to match the current fashions and trends."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Or the drink is fine, I was just curious." She smiled and took another sip.

"And what are the current trends out her?" Yslane asks as she sets her glass down, "Do they take cues from the inner worlds out here? I hadn't really paid much attention....as you might imagine there has been other things pressing my attention."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"It depends a bit on where you want to go, what might be hip at Shadows, won't work at The Hollow, and If your are over at The Viper, it's another thing altogether. "They do take some cues from the inner worlds though, so that might things a bit easier."

"What do you think you would enjoy? Something hip? Or maybe something classic? A mix of the two?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Well classic is what most of the official dress code favors." Yslane smiled, "So....something different?"

"The Shadow, I remember hearing about that place in the briefing on the planet. Something of a famous nightclub?"

[Vec Gunnar]

"I have good days, I have bad days, in that regard. And most tips are in the form of free food and drink, which only helps indirectly."

She took a sip as if in appreciation, "Honestly, the best part about working as an entertainer is that the hours allow for side jobs which might be less regular, but pay better."

"Ain't that right?" He smirked faintly at the talk of her tips as he glanced out at her drink. "And here I thought I was being all cheap after losing my money at the tables tonight."

He raised his glass at her. "Here's to hoping that you and your partner do well tonight. Steady work is typically better than the occasional gig, I found that early on in my life." Less danger, more benefits. "So what do you do when you're not on stage singing and looking pretty?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Well classic is what most of the official dress code favors." Yslane smiled, "So....something different?"

"The Shadow, I remember hearing about that place in the briefing on the planet. Something of a famous nightclub?"

"Quite right, so something different it will be." He replied as he returned her smile. His mind going over the various places he could take her.

"Yes, it's down in Shadow town, and is perhaps the hottest place around right now. Are you interested in going by perhaps?"

He raised his glass at her. "Here's to hoping that you and your partner do well tonight. Steady work is typically better than the occasional gig, I found that early on in my life." Less danger, more benefits. "So what do you do when you're not on stage singing and looking pretty?"

"Oh, various odd jobs. You can see my team down at the Huttball arena a lot of days. And I dance at the Yellow Viper lounge sometimes. There are other things, but they're pretty irregular."

[Vec Gunnar]

Vec gave her a few small nods after a sip from his glass, going along with the answer. He figured that might a difference between what she was sharing and what she didn't. "Mm. Those sound like they're like a stable income. I can't say I've been to the Huttball arena but it seems like an open participation sport. The Yellow Viper Lounge is a decent place...for losing your credits. When you got more than a few Hutt in the city, I reckon that work is never at a shortage."

"Thankfully I don't gamble, and I rarely pay for drinks; So I've never had a credit problem down there. And yeah, Huttball is pretty open to who plays. But then again, that's almost as risky as bounty hunting."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Quite right, so something different it will be." He replied as he returned her smile. His mind going over the various places he could take her.

"Yes, it's down in Shadow town, and is perhaps the hottest place around right now. Are you interested in going by perhaps?"

"I wouldn't mind seeing it sometime." Yslane nods, "Do you think it is a worth while stop?" She takes another sip, then rests her chin on a propped up arm.

"It's not generally my scene, but idon't probably suggest you go, at least once." He smiled. "Though most ladies that go there dress a lot like my partner."

"Do you know when you might have time for shopping?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Perhaps the afternoon? I have other arrangements in the Evening proper." Yslane checks her datapad, "...and the Senator's speech is later in the afternoon. Before that would be good."

She glances over at aforementioned partner, "...not quite so daring am I."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Well, you just said you wanted to see me tomorrow afternoon. So I'll admit you're a bit more daring then I had been thinking." He replied with a teasing smile.

"I'm sure we can find something you'll be pleased with though.... Perhaps the earlier hours of the afternoon? We could stop for lunch as well, if we have the time."

[Yslane Tssilla]

She replaces her datapad quickly, embarrassed for having so casually and rudely pulled it out, "That's fine." Yslane sips at her drink more, "Any venue you favor? Or really any casual venue you favor? Forgive me if I do not wish for anything too fancy tomorrow. Work takes me to the upper level clubs quite often. Sometimes you just want something simple."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I have a few places in mind, nothing to fancy of course. Is there anything in particular you don't Like? I'd hate to treat you to something you wouldn't enjoy." He paid no attention to the data pad, they were a common thing and he didn't mind.

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Hmm I am curious about these outdoor food shops you have, where everyone sits at a long counter to eat watching the chief work." Yslane laughed, "It seems so...quaint."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I know just the place then." He smiled taking another drink from his glass. "I'll pick you up just after noon then?"

"We will go for a bit of shipping then lunch."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"That sounds acceptable," She pulls out her datapad again to make a note of it, "...it doesn't interrupt any other plans of yours does it?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Not at all." Even if it had he wouldn't have admitted it. "If you don't mind though." He pulled out a small black communicator and pushed it her way. "'I'd like you to have my contact information. Just in case plans change."

[Vec Gunnar]

"Thankfully I don't gamble, and I rarely pay for drinks; So I've never had a credit problem down there. And yeah, Huttball is pretty open to who plays. But then again, that's almost as risky as bounty hunting."

"Frugal type, I get you," he nodded to her as he took a sip of his glass. "Not a bad way to keep most of your money to yourself. At least you only have to worry about it getting stolen from you. Is there really anything really safe around here? I take it that Huttball sees plenty injuries and 'accidental' fatalities. "

"Not as many as it used to. Not officially at least. But really, it can be pretty safe here, if you live up top or know the right people."

[Vec Gunnar]

"I'll just have to take your word for it, miss. The explosion yesterday has me doubting that a little," he said with a few non-committal nods. "How long have you been here? There are many people here but I reckon that many are just passing by."
