Love Connection (Day 8 Late Evening Ritts)

[Zanebry Varliss]

Ritt's wasn't Zane's favorite location, but it was easy, and casual enough that hopefully Asra wouldn't be too nervous. He arrived early, having told his favorite red head of the location. He'd also informed her to wear something nice, and he was quite interested to see what she decided.

He hovered near the door, the fog hampering his vision a little, but not so much he'd miss any of the others arriving. He was dressed nice, well as nice as always, his tie this night a vibrant green.

Asra arrives soon after Zanebry. She was normally an austere dresser, and even when told to dress nice, the dress wasn't elaborate as such... A simple ruffle along the collar, dark blue to bring out her eyes.A simple ruffle along the collar, dark blue to bring out her eyes. Form-fitting and coming down just below her knees, paired with simple black heels. Red hair cascades down in waves over her shoulders and down to her hips.

She chewed on her lip, looking around and holding up a hand to Z when she saw him.

He walked over a appraising smile of his lips as he looked fer over. "Wow. You dress up nicely Asra my dear, makes me wish I had you all to myself. Having your hair down I think is the best touch." He resisted the urge to brush a hands through the strands.

"I think Arali is going to be all over you." He finished with a sly wink.

She brushes a hand over the invisible crease in the skirt, turning a little red. "I don't know... I mean, I hope so, but..." She chuckles. "Well, it's that or this is going to make my case regarding my difficulties with girls. So I guess someone will be entertained no matter what."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Now, where has that usual confidence go." He offered her a smile. "Just get her on the floor, dance nice, close, and slow. Then if you get the chance steal her lips, she'll probably give you a few hints if she's interested. Arali isn't the shy type."

[Arali Zian]

Arali makes her way back to Ritt's, a more familiar place these days. Zane must be losing his originality lately. But it is a nice place. And it's not like either of their dates know they were just here.

She spots Zane- always an easy feat- and heads over, clicking in low heels, sporting a sleek green sheath dress, only overhearing that last part. The one about not being shy. "Evening, Zane; it's good to see you again. And you must be Asra? My name is Arali; it's a pleasure to meet you."

If he had more time he would of found another, sadly something things are last minute. He offered Asra one more encouraging smile before turning his eyes towards Arali. "Arali, I must say, you look simply radiant this evening." He offered with a smile, before taking a step back to let the two chat with each other. His date should be arriving shortly. He hoped.

Asra's heels are a little higher, but in the end only serve to make them four inches apart instead of five. She watched between the two of them, studying the dynamic before she smiled at Arali, clearly a touch nervous. "Yes, I am. It's a pleasure to meet you, as well." She paused and added, "He is right about that - you look lovely."

[Arali Zian]

"You are most kind," the twi'lek smiles, then looks to Zane. "Your date said she'd run just a little late, but she'll be here soon. I think you'll like her." She's been infuriatingly tight-lipped about who she invited thus far.

But, this funsized little redhead seems far more interesting. "So, Asra, tell me about yourself? How did you meet our well-dressed friend, here?" she gives Zane a nod.

"We'll see if your taste's have improved." He responded slightly teasingly as his eyes peered through the fog, he had to admit he was more then a little curious as to who she would of invited. "Should we step inside? Or await her arrival out here?"

Worry about Zeno was weighing on her mind, but she was determined to try and relax. Goodness knew she had enough trouble on this front without having something else getting in the way. Besides... it was important to try and detach anyway.

She returned the smile, then glanced into the club. "It'll probably be a little difficult to find us if we head in." Turning back to Arali, she answered. "I'm just your basic military corporal, on hand just in case, really. There's been quite a bit of 'in case' this week, too, so I guess that's good. We ran into each other when I was looking for some medical supplies and got to talking. He tried to flirt, but it sort of bounced off because... well, there's a reason he asked to set this up." She gave a small grin. "And yourself? Z's been pretty coy about who you are."

[Arali Zian]

"He does that sometimes," Arali observes.

But as to herself? "I work at the Jedi enclave, mainly as aide to Master Thun, and help organize aid to developing outlying colonies. Though, since the peace talks began, it's been more... 'respond to one ludicrous crisis after another.' I would never have described Nar Shaddaa as peaceful, but these last couple of weeks have been... well, let's just say I think we all deserve a good drink, no?"

"It sounds like something that would normally be good work, at least, helping a lot of people," she says with a nod. There's a sigh and a shake of her head. "That sounds about like my experience, as well. I was caught in an explosion on arrival and it's basically continued in that vein from there. So yes, sounds like music to my ears."

[Arali Zian]

Now that gets Arali's attention. "I heard about that! I'm glad to see you're okay; I hope none of the crew were hurt?"

And those bombings... they were all imperial ships. Thanks for the heads up, Zane. Not that Arali particularly minds.

"Everyone came out with most of the important bits, fortunately," she replied with a smile and a nod. "What have you run into in terms of difficulties here?"

[Nekoinu]

Naveera came into the establishment and approached Arali as arranged. She looked at Zanebry with a confused face and then looked to her other twi'lek with an expression that could only be summed up as, 'Are you serious?'

[Arali Zian]

Arali's about to speak up, when Naveera shows up, and she gives Asra a 'one moment,' gesture, somewhat confused by the look on Naveera's face. But she doesn't let it break good cheer; bringing attention to the confusion would only make things worse.

"Hey, Naveera; glad you could make it. Naveera, this is my friend, Zane. Zane, I'd like you to meet Naveera."

Asra doesn't laugh. She doesn't. She's only met Naveera once, after all, briefly at the Viper. She just watches in confusion and doesn't laugh. She glances toward the door to conceal her expression. "Shall we head in, since everyone's here?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

Zane couldn't help but chuckle. "Thank you for the Introduction Arali, but Naveera and I have met a time or two." He offered the blue twi'lek a charming smile. "Good evening Naveera, you look simply radiant."

"I hope you aren't to disappointed with your date being me?"

[Nekoinu]

"Of course not. But I think we have something to discuss," she said before shaking her head. "I'll just assume the best. Now then, shall we?"

[Arali Zian]

As she realizes what she just did, Arali decides to discreetly slip off to Asra's side. "Wow, that was tense... I think I just made a mistake." Now, she's nervous.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Of course not. But I think we have something to discuss," she said before shaking her head. "I'll just assume the best. Now then, shall we?"

He offered Naveera his arm. "I'm just here to help one friend, and keep an eye on the other." He offered his eyes moving from Arali to Asra. "Still I'm glad she invited you tonight gorgeous. Arali usually uses these nights to get me to give some young woman dancing lessons."

Asra puts a hand gently on her arm and smiles up at her. She looked a little more relaxed - handling comforting other people being nervous than herself being sp, and the humor of the situation had taken the edge off. "It was a little tense, but I think it'll be okay." She gives her a gentle bump with her shoulder. "You have your own problems anyway, right? Can I get you the first drink?"

[Nekoinu]

"Hm, if you say so," Naveera said, a bit unconvinced. Still, she took his arm and gave him a smile. "We'll talk more about this later then. Let's not spoil their fun."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I wouldn't dream of it. After all I've finally got you out dancing." He covered her hand with his other as they started to walk inside, offering her a warm smile along the way.
