Nar Shaddaa

Taking the day normally, that at least was Z's intention it was why he had taken Luth out shopping. Things had seemed to go well for her and Arali, and it was a bit of a celebration. "so what would you like?" He asked as he turned his eyes to the red head. "Shoes? A new dress? Lingerie?" The last part was said a bit teasingly a smile on his lips.

She sighs and rubs a hand over her face. It was easy for her to try to take the day normally, but the discoveries that had come with it were running her ragged. "Sadly, nothing so nice. I need to replace my supply of stimpaks." Luth was getting a headache, tempted to buy her own pack of cigarettes while she was out. It was a bad idea.

"It will be on me." He offered with a soft smile. "You'll need something to wear should you and Arali go on a second date. Of course we'll get stimpacks while we're out as well." He watched her for a few moments before slipping a hand in his pocket to retrieve his flask. "Care for a drink?"

She looks at the flask, taking it and tipping a little back into her mouth. Not too much. Luth couldn't afford to be less than focused. "Thanks," she says, handing it back. "I'll cover it. I'd feel like a complete bastard if I didn't. Well, it wouldn't make that much of a difference from that anyway."

"I insist on at least getting you a little something. A gift for humoring me and agreeing to that date yesterday." He took the flask, taking a swallow himself before slipping it back in his pocket. "Whatever your choices Asra, I won't argue it. I might try to encourage you towards the one i think best though."

"If I die tonight, my ship is yours." It was said easily, and he wasn't even looking her way, he was simply walking down the street without a care in the world.

"Most people do." She covered her mouth and let out what sounded like a cough, squeezing her eyes shut for a few moments. "I'd prefer you being alive," she says, her voice breaking a little.

"i figured as much, but you have to wonder how much the really know about you, well in the ways that I do." He turned his eyes towards her and offered a small smile. "I'd prefer it ended up that way as well, but a man must plan for everything, so I took the time to put my affairs in order. For worst case scenarios."

"I don't think anyone knows me the way you do at this point... Which says something about my life as much as anything," she says with a slightly broken chuckle. "That is the smart thing, I guess. I'd say I should get mine in order, but... There's not really anything to get in order. If I die, it's just... like I never existed at all."

"That's the way of things when you're in this line of business. Whatever you decide be careful Luth." the last bit was barely audible, and not something he'd normally say, but it seemed like she needed it.

"I'll remember you." He murmured as they turned a corner. "Not that knowing that will likely help, but memories are often enough the only thing people like us leave behind. There are occasionally a few memento's as well. I still carry Noth with me every day for example."

She nods. "I plan to." She walks in silence for a few moments. "I suppose someone should get my gun. It's a nice piece. I'd hate for it to go to waste."

"Aye, and there may be a trinket or two you carry with you." He offered her a soft smile. "I have my hat for example, though I'm not sure anyone would really want that." He took it off and spun it between his hands. "Though I'm pretty sure no one would really want this."

"Not really," she says with a half-smile. "Give away, right? Why wouldn't they?"

"Well if nothing else, you could always give Arali a pair of your panties." He said teasingly, as they started to approach the store. He looked his hat over once more before putting it back on his head. "I dunno, but this hat has been a lot of places, seen a lot of things. Could make someone far lewder just by wearing it."

"How do you know I haven't? Incidentally, damn, that was a good choice," she commented, breaking into a chuckle. She felt a little better. "I think that's more something they'd want it for. Aphrodisiacs are big business, you know."

"I'm glad you liked her." He said with a soft chuckle. "arali is good people, despite the fact she'll never sleep with me." He trailed off as they entered the store, a trendy clothing boutique aimed towards women.

"You're probably right, but that means I can't just let anyone have it. It may be used for nefarious purposes in the wrong hands after all."

Asra looked around the store a little blankly. She was born a slave and then joined the military. She'd never really given much in the way of thought to fashion.

"Such a tragedy," she says with a soft laugh. "It's true. It's a dangerous item, you know."

"I've always though as much, she has all the right curves in all the right places after all. Mind you I've gotten to see them before, but nothing else." He offered her a sly smile, before leading her to the dress section of the store.

"I've been beginning to understand it's danger's especially lately." He teased as he started browsing. "Any color's you prefer? and do you want to go for something more trendy, or something more classic?"

"She does at that," she agrees, following along. "I usually go for some variety of blue... just to bring out my eyes enough so they don't look black. Other than that... I don't know. As long as it looks good, I suppose."

"Alright then." He smirked slightly, "Perhaps something in blue, with a few less thrills then," He started too prowse through the various dresses available for purchase, occasionally picking one up to study more in detail. "How revealing were you wanting to go?"

She followed along, studying the dresses he picked out. "Other colors are fine, too... I've only really ever purchased one dress." She adds, "I don't mind being a bit daring. I suppose I have someone to impress at this point."

He chuckled. "Let's get something to show off a bit more or your legs then, something looser that can be lifted, if the moments right." He offered with a sly wink. "Other colors might work as well, different greens, perhaps yellow."

Her freckly skin flushes at that as her mind flashes back to the previous night. "That's an idea," she says, a little embarrassed. "I guess it's just a matter of trying and seeing how those colors work."

"Indeed, though it might hide your best feature to a degree." He started picking out a few different dresses, hanging them over his arm."

"Well let's go try a few on, that's the best way to tell what suits you my dear."
