Somehow, he felt even more uncertain about this than their last meeting. It was probably because she had gotten married in the meantime. There was a strong possibility that her husband would kill him for coming here. But, he'd have to get in line.
Galen knocked on Night's door.

Night opens the door with more bruises though she has applied makeup to alleviate the worst of the physical impact. She smiles weakly, “I am sorry I had not called you… it’s been a long few days.”

Galen went to his things. He'd been moving the rest of his stuff from the Starcross to the room he'd rented when she'd called.
(Any issue with having my blaster rifle or the unused snare with me?)

The man stumbles back and then two more blasts find his chest as Night blows the smoke from her own pistol. She wipes away the makeup and says, "Thanks lover..."
She walks over casually and puts two more bolts into her husband.
