Haunted [D9, EN]

Luth sat on the bed, bottle of booze held between her knees, in a cramped room in the Red Light District, far away from her usual haunts. The glowing end of a lit cigarette and the glow of the news were the only real lighting in the room, mostly hiding the woman, though some of it caught the we shine on her newly-dark hair, dripping slightly from the refresher and missing most of its length. As she watched the news with a moody detachment, some part of her could still feel Zeno's fingers running through the long, wavy hair, and the thought made her press her hand to her eyes and try not to cry.

She was failing badly, but did she need to try? She'd found and disposed of any bugs. No one was here but her. It took effort and a few more deep drinks from the bottle before she could finally overcome the habit to repress everything and just cry for a while. "I'm sorry..." They had meant something to her. Sylvain and Zeno, and Kristal and Shai, as well. But she had seen the end of that path today. She couldn't go down it.

She would eventually gain a new path, a new lease on her own life, but that was for tomorrow. Tonight was for mourning and trying to let go of Asra, and for trying to remember who "Luth Khalan" even was. Tomorrow was another day.

She finds a tracking/listening device in the Vertica Club pass she got from the Hutts whens he first arrived. It shorts out though she when fidgets with it.

She crushes it sharply as it if were a bug, swallowing a little. "Oh no... I have to-" She takes a breath. "No. No, I don't," she murmurs to herself. She takes a deep breath. In through her nose and out through her mouth. Calm was needed her. Focus on the mission. She was out, she couldn't ruin everything now. She was just glad she'd never been that inclined to go to Club Vertica.

Flipping Destiny to make it so that she wasn't carrying the pass and the bug with it around often.
