File-ing Through the Crowds (D1, EA)

Sylvain walked through the streets with is mask attached and walked coolly through the seas of people. The seedy parts of Nar Shaddaa appeared to be even more seedy than Kaas City. He smiled slightly as he imagined how Shaisha might enjoy some of the shops and bars he found himself walking past as he headed to his destination.

Following the coordinates in his holopad he reached the building with the data drop and walked inside...

It was run down and there were some squatters otherwise it was unremarkable with graffiti on the walls. The drop is easy to find and undisturbed.

Sylvain quickly did his work and safely concealed the object which contained the data in his robes.

Walking outside the building he began to walk again through the streets towards Shadow Town.

The fear in the moment of doing such clandestine work has his attention which means he is not looking where he is going when he bumps into a tall slim figure in the rain. The man turns and glares and says with a hiss, “Sith.”

The masked face looks up at the green man in return and bows politely. A slightly mechanical voice replies.

"Ah, excuse me sir. I neglected to pay the proper attention to where I was walking. Please forgive my rudeness."

He crosses his arms across his chest and says, “Best you leave this place, it is under my protection and I won’t have your kind spoiling it.”

He smiled... but the leaf-colored hot head would not have seen that.

"Is that so? A servant of the Hutts then are you? Look more like a Jedi to me. Who may I say protects this place... in case you know... one of my friends wishes to come here?"

“Balos Tyl, Jedi Knight,” he says with a glare.

“The only thing worse than a Hutt, is a Sith.”

He looked to the other man silently for a moment. He tilted his head, "I can imagine worse things; though I must admit we can be difficult at times."

He bowed again, "Again I offer my apologies. If there is anything I can do to make up for my rudeness, perhaps a drink at a local cantina or some such, then do not hesitate to ask. My name is Sylvain Torsin. Though I doubt you'll end up taking me up on that offer."

Another nervous figure was wandering the streets, Yslane was extremely jumpy in this part of town. She continuously checked her datapad and patted her coat pocket, a poorly hidden holdout pistol peaked out of the flap.

It came as a bit of surprise when she blundered into what might be a brewing duel. With two force users locking horns and at least one openly hostile to the other, Yslane wisely steps back to not get caught in lightning or lightsaber.

Of course the Sith being polite in turn did help a little...

Without moving his head, behind his mask his eyes moved to look at the newcomer. Her outward appearance suggested she was perhaps not as proficient a fighter as the man in front of her, but here was a strong connection to the force that emanated from her. He would need to reconsider any strategy he may have been thinking if the Mirialan wished to make something of this encounter.

Yslane met the Sith's gaze, then dropped her own to her datapad.

"My apologies Master Jedi...and Torsin was it? I hope I am not interrupting anything." Her eyes come back up looking between the two. She stays silent for a moment then seems to remember her own name has gone unsaid. "Ah...Yslane Tssilla, Administrative Aide with the Foreign Office's contribution to the peace talks. A...ah...pleasure to make your acquaintance."

“We will never forget the savagery of Dantooine,” he hisses.

“And no I won’t be sharing a drink with you or any of your filth.”

Sylvain nodded to the newcomer, "Greetings Miss Tssilla. Knight Tyl here was instructing me that this area is under his protection."

He returned his head back to the Knight, "A shame. I hope your time here will be enjoyable despite what is sure to be an increased number of Sith sightings."

The obvious hostility from the Jedi did not bode well, "The war has been most destructive Master Jedi," She dips her head at addressing him, "But we are here for peace talks at the moment...may I suggest remembrance of the multitude of wounds on both sides be set aside for the moment...in the interest of shared...harmony?"

Balos nods to Yslane and says, “There can be no harmony when the Sith are around.”

He draws his lightsaber without igniting it.

“Leave now Sith, while you still can.”

He nodded politely, "So much for the serenity of the Jedi."

He then bowed a farewell, "With your leave."

He then walked past the Jedi and the woman, giving her a polite nod as he passed and walked down the street.

"My apologize Mr. Torsin." She returned the nod. "I hope your stay on Nar Shadda is pleasant." Yslane offered a nervous smile.

Her eyes shift to the Jedi.
