Nar Shaddaa

Arsele glanced at her watch as she waited near a patch of wilted looking flowers, wearing a powder blue top and cream coloured skirt; She was a little irritated that the man had insisted on calling this a date in the holomail, but she'd worked long enough in this city than to know better than to complain about niggling details like that. At least c you wanted to get anything done here, to a certain point.

Remmington comes jogging up and waves to Arsele. "Hey Arsele! Am I late? Have you been waiting long?" He pulls out his datapad to check the time before putting it away.

He looks at her for a moment and smiles. "You look great."

She shakes her head, "Not fashionably late, not fashionably early either. And thanks; Just something comfortable for around town. Now... you said shopping?"

Remmington nods. "A promise is a promise. Plus I have some shopping of my own to do as well. So 2 birds with 1 stone I suppose." He follows with a light smile.

She nods, "Lead the way then; It seems you have some things planned."

Remmington chuckles. "Well sort of. A well dressed gentleman recommended that I go see a Dwum Wane, I think they run a haberdashery, in order to get a hat. After that, I just need to pick up some postcards."

He beings to walk. Looking over to her. "Do you have any requests lady Arsele?"

Haberdashery? He couldn't be talking about Zanebry could he?

"Um... no, not in particular; I didn't have much in mind since I'm in the middle of juggling my finances after getting back on-world..."

"Ah, that sounds pretty rough. Were you out on a job? Bounty hunting." Remmington asks as they walk.

They soon find themselves in front of a haberdashery. "Looks like this must be the place."

He opens the door for Arsele. "Ladies first."

With a chuckle Arsele walks through the open door; The shop was quite bright and vibrant really, light tubes illuminating a wide variety of hats, caps, berets, circlets, hairbands, headbands, tiaras, crowns, bonnets, shawls, helmets, and even some accessories.

Hm.

Perhaps she could find something after all.

Remmington doesn't take long before he finds just what is he looking for. Picking up a fedora his puts it on his head and strikes a pose. "So what do you think Arsele? Is it me?"

...now she was sure of it. Somehow.

"You didn't come looking for one of those because a man who smelled of smoke and cologne suggested it, did you?"

Remmington shakes his head. "No, he didn't suggest. Though I must admit that I rather like his style."

He looks at her for a moment. "Do you perhaps know a gentleman by the name Zanebry?"

An inward snort.

Of course.

"I do, yes; He plays piano down in the lower wards sometimes, so I run across him in my work."

"Ah. You are a singer as well if I recall. Do you work together with him then?" Remmington asks.

"~Someone~ needs to play the music; And he's honestly one of the most professional about such things around these parts."

That was one thing she'd never hesitate admitting about Zanebry.

"Oh? Too many scum bag musicians as well?" Remmington asks.

"Did you want anything from there by the way?"

"More like too many amateurs. And no; I have the fee hats I actually want I think. I generally prefer having my hair free anyways."

"I can see that as being a problem. How is the pay, if you don't mind my asking?" Remmington nods and goes to pay for the fedora.

"Ready to move onto the next store?"

"Sure; Where to next?"

She had to admit that a hair clip caught her eyes on the way out, but it quickly passed from her mind as she stepped back into the streets with Remmy.

Remmington is thoughtful for a moment and then looks at her. "Promise not to laugh or think I'm cheap or anything like that but I just need to go to some sort of tourist gift shop and pick up some postcards for my master. She likes post cards. What can I say?"

"...that..."

She crosses her arms and glances at him, "That is more on your master than yourself."

Remmington nods. "Well this shouldn't take long."

He starts heading off to their next destination. "That reminds me. Continuing where we left off before. How did you get into bounty hunting?" He asks.

A small shrug, "That's not something I feel like talking about in depth; I needed some money, I knew I had certain skills... it just worked out."

Remmington nods in understanding. "Was the other job because of needing money as well? You don't have to get into it if you don't want to."

A gift shop soon comes into view.

"...other job? Playing Huttball?"

She follows by his side, even if she knows souvenirs aren't for her.
