[D2 - EA] Let's Play Sabacc II (Solmillo's, Open)

Once again Rumun returns to Solmillo's to have something to eat and to enjoy a bit of leisure time playing a few hands of sabacc. For some reason he could not understand, the same Bith band was playing the same jizz classic song that they were playing last time he came here. But it would seem that the music was something like a lucky charm because once again he won credits.

Then he proceeds to relax and enjoy the music.

Remmington enters Solmillo's for much the same. Some good food and chance to make some credits. Seems like the cantina music is pretty lucky.

Niriti stepped up behind Remmington. "Can you imagine I only made this?" She seemed not happy with her winnings from the gambling. "I really should not play so clean next time." She added with slyness. Her arm crawled over the shoulder of her partner sith and then she gazed up to whoever she was talking to as her fingers twirled his hair.

"Rumun, my dearest." Her hand extended to the Duro who she had not seen in such long time. "How have you been?"

'' It would seem that this music is bringing me luck, Remmington '' He smiled and bowed to the Sith. '' Somehow I have managed to win twice while listening to the same song.''

Rumun seemed to be a bit tired from his looks. Like if he had been involved in some vigorous activity earlier. His eyes also shown tiredness.

'' My lady Niriti, what a pleasant surprise. '' He bowed and kissed the back of Niriti's hand, respectfully. '' I have been well, thanks for asking. I'm glad that you joined us here at the Peace talks. How have you been?''

"It's been quite a good time since the Academy finished." She added coming closer to the men, standing between them, though her arm wrapped around the bicep of Remmington. "Other than the luck on my first time gambling here, it's all been a crazy ride."

The Sith caught the tired look on the Duro. "What have you been doing today, it seems as if you aren't getting enough sleep..."

[Rumun Gol]

'' Well I got involved in a fight with some darkside creature, really don't know what it was'' He told them. '' The thing wounded me and put strain on my mind. But in the end I broke its will and returned it from where it came from'' He shrugs.

He chuckles a bit. '' Fighting was never my strongest skill. But I have realized that my lightsaber is not well balanced for my abilities. I'm planing on reforging it later. '' The duro explained.

[Remmington Thalalas]

The dealer from the table Remmy was playing at approaches the Sith and informs him of the error that was made. He sighs a bit and hands back some of the credits.

"Hmm... not that good. Well I am glad that luck seems to be on your side Rumun." He gives a nod to the duros.

He smiles as Niriti slides up beside him. He listens to the story with a bit of surprise.

"A Dark Side creature? I am surprised you ran into one. Where was this?" He then nods. "Well if you want some help fixing up your saber feel free to come to me for help."

'' I activated by mistake a sith artifact from Lord Haydriss' collection. '' He shrugs. '' In any case I do appreciate your offer but for this particular mechanical item I think that I should do it myself. Afterall, I need to attune myself again to my kyber crystal. Also have an idea about the hilt that I want to try. I read that in ancient times there was a lightsaber design with a crossguard, I'm planing trying fabricating one. '' He told Rem.

"A cross guard huh?" Remmington says as he considers the duros words. "Hmm... maybe I should work on my light saber a bit as well."

"You met with another lord? What is Lord Haydriss like? I haven't met her yet." He asks.

[Rumun Gol]

'' I think that a crossguard would enhance the defensive capabilities of the lightsaber.'' He commented.

Then he thought for a moment how to best describe Haydriss.

'' Well, lord Haydriss is a researcher to the core. She is quite strict in correct scientific procedures. But if you asked for a more detailed description, I'm afraid that she uses a mask and armor, so I don't know how she looks like '' He shrugs.

[Remmington Thalalas]

"Cross guard. Sounds a little weird but I guess I can see that." Remmington surmises.

"The mask plus armour thing is still ridiculously popular with Sith huh?"

[Niriti]

"That is quite a story, Rumun. I would had thought that at Nar Shaadda we would not encounter any of them creatures, but well, it is a swamp still in its core." The Sith woman added before the conversation drifted to the technical works, were she doze off to look around at the casino at the people in it. She needed to get to better classed people.

[Rumun Gol]

Rumun shrugs '' Well, yeah I suppose you are right, my lady. There are any places, around here, that could harbor darkside energy. After all this planetary system was not the hutts' native system. There was another race that lived here, but they were enslaved and driven mostly to extintion by the hutts. Fear, anger, hate. The exact mixture for the dark side.'' He replied to Niriti.

Then he replied to Rem. '' Donning armor do have some benefits. Your defences are enhanced, you probably can walk in the cold vacuum of space, you are possibly immune to biological attacks, etc''

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "I guess I will have to add that to the list of stuff that I should get. I'll probably just build it myself."

He glances over to Niriti. "I should make one of you as well."

Going back to Rumun. "Well if you find out anything else about Dark Side creatures or spots let me know. It may be interesting to see what we find outside of the Empire."

[Niriti]

"I still have my old Padded Armor from the Academy." She added to his mention of a new equipment piece, and though she had a nostalgic care for her armor, a bright smile of interest shown on her. "Although you know I love... love new things." she emphasized with a higher tone as her arm returned to him, and her other hand caught a glass of licor that passed by from a waitress's tray. "My dear Remmy takes care of all that technology shenanigans for me. I am not one to rely on when it comes to those things. He does take very well care of me though."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"Well that is still better than me. I just have heavy robes. Guess I should work on mine first." Remmington comments as he starts pondering what sort of modifications he can do to it.

At her comment he smiles. "I do rather enjoy spoiling you darling."

[Niriti]

"I don't plan on getting on heavy battling, so I should have no need to anything stronger than my pads." She added with a smile as she posed her head on his shoulder. "I don't like wearing it anyway, it keeps me from feeling able and free. It restricts most of my movements, and weighs on my frail body."

Remmington nods. "In that case, just let me know when you want to upgrade your lightsaber then."
