An umbrella over his head, Zane traveled through the streets of the lower city, slowly smoking a cigarette. He wanted to get a few things in case Aphr really did make it over this evening.

Make up or jewelry? He was still a bit undecided, and the shops didn't seem to give him any insight.

"Yeah, I figured there was a rush, but... you know, never mind," a woman with vivid red hair and freckles who looked like she'd just gone on a casual stroll through no man's land turned away from a vendor selling medical supplies and turned to head down street. Seeing Zane, she nods to him.

The nod is returned and the pretty red head is offered a smile, his eyes flicking over her form.

Coming to a halt, he raised a hand to catch her attention. "My apologies Miss, I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but did I hear correctly? You are in need of medical supplies?"

"Yeah, I was looking to restock, at least. You know how crime can be down here," she says, giving a rueful smile and a shrug.

"I do." He agreed with a faint chuckle. "Had a run in with a couple thugs last niggt, and I was thinking of doing a bit of resupply myself."

"I take it Ja'fir over there is in short supply though?" He dipped his head towards the vendor, who gave a way and smile in Z's direction.

"Yeah, sadly," she tugged gently at her somewhat singed braid. "My own fault for waiting."

"Oh, I'm not sure you have to give up just yet." He offered the woman a small smile. "While most of the shops on the mainstreets are likely out. There are still some a bit out of the way they likely have stock left. "

"I could show you the way, if you don't mind walking with someone just recently a stranger." He offered her a charming smile. "I'm Zanebry by the way, though you can call me Nebry if you like."

She smiles in return. "Please do. "Asra Nakahti. Pleased to meet you." She starts following him. "What brought you down here? Looking for something yourself?"

"A pleasure to make your acquaintance Asra." He replied shifting his umbrella to his other hands, so she could share his had she not brought her own. "Not so many awnings where we are going:" He offered in explanation.

"Oh, I had a few things to pick up, a few supplies, presents, things of that nature." He offered her a warm smile. "Nothing too pressing, as I was mostly just browsing."

"I appreciate it... I suppose I hurried a bit here," she acknowledged. "Ah... presents? Family, someone special?" She shook her head. "Sorry, none of my business. Just trying to make conversation. Awkwardly."

"It happens to us all from time to time." Strolling down the rainy street he glanced over her takign notice of her hair. "I could direct you to a good stylist while I am at it if you like, you have such beautiful hair, and it would be a shame not to get it seen to."

"You don't have to apologize, I don't mind a few questions." He offered her a smile. "I'm teaching a young woman to dance later this evening, I wanted to get her a few accessories as a present should the lessons go well."

She pulled her braid around, gazing at it critically. "I'll take the recommendation. I might have to cut it anyway from all the damage." She shook her head and sighed. "Oh, that sounds like fun. Good luck."

"Jin'way, can do wonders." He smiled easily. "His shop is on the other side of town though. I'll give you his number and address before we part."

"It should be, as long as I don't get my toes stepped on too many times." He guided their steps through the aide street, occasionally taking a small detour to avoid one of the sketchier streets. "Do you dance by chance? I imagine a lady such as yourself must get plenty of invitations for such."

"Thank you," she replied with a nod and smile. At the ask about dancing, she laughs and shakes her head. "I guess I can move well enough, but I've been so wrapped up in work... And there's not exactly a lot of opportunities out in the middle of the desert, so... No, not too much dancing so far."

"Anytime." He couldn't help but smile as she laughed. "Understandable." He glanced in her direction. "Sand would make a pretty poor dance floor anyways. Always getting in your shoes and, well, everywhere else."

"If your ever in the mood for some lessons though, I might know someone."

"Yes... you would need to be a bit stable, I'd assume," she smiles. "You seem to know quite a lot of people."

"No more then most that have spent a few years here." Well maybe a few more people then most. "I have to admit that time I was referring to myself though."
