Nar Shaddaa

Rumun waited for Rem and Niriti to arrive. They are going to start the investigation about the disappearance of one of Czerkas employees. This has been a fascinating day until now.

OOC: This needs to be moved to a slot after Early Evening for Niriti and Remmington to be here.

Remmington will arrive with Niriti. Both looking a little worse for wear. He offers Rumun a polite bow. "Greetings Rumun. I apologize for our appearance. We had some slug trouble."

He smiles pleasantly despite the way he looks.

Rumun looked at them. '' Not a problem'' He bowed. '' What happened? Are you two alright?'' He seemed worried.

"Do you have your datapad on you Rumun? I would like to borrow it if you don't mind. Mine is on the fritz." Remmington asks.

"It's kind of a long story but I think we are okay for the most part." He continues.

'' Yeah sure, here '' Rumun pass his datapad to Remmington. He was curious about what happened to them but he decides not to ask the details.

"Thanks. Funny how we become so reliant on these things that we are almost hopeless with them." Remmington says with a chuckle.

He quickly types a note on Rumun's datapad. Quickly summarizing his slicing into the Network Security and then followed up by a very unpleasant meeting with Dango. Who probably now is keeping tabs on them and going to use them to pay off their 'debt'. The information he found is something that she is willing to kill for. Or at least breaks some legs over.

Next he writes down some very important information. It is juicy insider information* about trades that the Hutts are doing.

/ *Don't really have more specifics than that. /

He hands the datapad back to Rumun. "Thank you. You're a lifesaver."

Niriti looks over the datapad, her knowledge of business can get a better detail on the meaning of such trades of the Hutts, and wonders why and how Dango had this.

Her looks are harsher than that of Remmy, she looks to have received the most out of the beating, and is bruised and hurt all over. Her normally charming face is one of anger and intimidation, saving most of her words for the moment so not to destroy those around her.

He looks at the datapad. It would seem that Rem made an information backup in it. Rumun thought that this info must be quite valuable, enought to get yourself killed. Probably this was the reason Remmington and Niriti were in their state.

He will analize it later with more detail. '' No problem '' He said. '' Well, shall we begin? '' He asked them

So how we do this job?

Remmington nods. "Yeah, the sooner we get this done. The sooner we can all go back and rest."

He looks over at the other two. "Did you bring your dossier? It may help. I brought mine just in case." He shows them some papers as he flashes them from inside his robes.

The dossier lists where the target lives and also a seedy underworld contact they used to move some good, Leaky Jang, a whiphid that lives in the Red Light District the target lives in Uptown at an apartment building called the Hazy Star.

Leaky Jang has ties, according to the dossier, to the Exchange.

OOC: The data Remmington found could be used to grab some quick cash for themselves to the tune of about four thousand credits without being noticed or they could hand it over to Darth Xevious and it would grant him a free upgrade on a Negotiation roll with the Hutts in the peace talks.

'' Yeah I brought mine as well. '' He took out his dossier and started reading for any useful info.

'' So, according to this info, there's this whipid, Leaky Jang, that could know something. Otherwise we could go to the Czerka's employee's home and see if we could find anything. '' He said while still looking at the information.

'' Guess we should go and visit the whipid first''

Remmington nods. "That sounds good lets go then. If they were home I think the employer would have checked their first. Though there may be something else worth finding there."

"After you gentlemen." Added the sith woman as she followed behind the Duro and the Human on their way. Was the Exchange of any use to them, she wondered as they made their way, maybe they needed to get them on their side, or maybe they could give them clue to how to deal with Dango

Finding the whiphid was easy, he was gambling at a low class casino... sitting at a slot like machine with metal balls plinking down a panel. He seems to be enjoying himself and smoking death sticks with wild abandon.

Remmington looks at the other two. "You two are probably better at this than I." He admits and lets them do the talking.

Niriti sits next to the gambling man and joins in the game. She seems to be making some wins and losses as she plays, looking to the side, to the man that is the reason for them to be there. The balls move and the colors shine and figures show. She gives a charming look to the man, raising her brow at him in feint interest.

"Good evening."

The whiphid, Leaky Jang, looks over and says in Huttese, “Is it evening already? Well damn the old lady is going to be pissed.”

Remmington takes up a spot near by. Making sure to block off a potential escape route for the whiphid but still keep an eye on things. He feigns checking out one of the slot machines to play.

Rumun also moves to block any possible way of escape. He is nearby but not so close as to attract the whipid attention. He looks around waiting for Niriti's work.

"Old lady? Can it mean that you're married? Won't you stay with me and play for a while?" She rested her hand on his leg casually, caressing with softness with the tip of her index finger. "I think there are some things we could... Exchange between us."

He looks at her with confusion, “Umm yeah, no… my old woman would beat me silly and you’re… not really pretty.” He says removing her hand with his big furry hands.

“No offense just too skinny… and so… hairless. It’s unnerving. So what do you want, and make it quick before my boys get angry. You can tell your crew to stop blocking my exits my crew marked them as soon as they came in.”

He continues playing the game and waits for an answer. He grumbles to himself and adds, “Been doing this too long for this amateur hour show. You want to know something you pay creds. You get violent you get killed.”

"Cut to the point." She answered with no worry in her, as if this was just the basics of her work, an evaluation of the man she was before. The sith removed her hand from him and wiped it off the counter as if letting him know that he was not her type whatsoever. "We have come through some information, so we were actually expecting you to be interested in us. We are looking for someone you used to deal with, one from Czerka, does it ring a bell?"

It did not seem as the Czerka employee were doing legal transactions with the whipid, so any motion of them knowing more than they showed was of interest. Niriti signals for the other two to come to her and stand behind her, leaving the exits, as it is a ploy that was not going to work on their behalf.

"We have this information in a safe spot, so tell your men to stand down, or it will be leaked."

Leaky Jang is not offended; whiphids and humans are pretty different creatures. He says, “I do a lot of legitimate business going to need names, something more than that time I worked with Czerka. Don’t waste my time, it’s precious. Leaking information on Nar Shaddaa is like pissing in the wind, it’s a messy business. Give me a name and I can probably get you what you want, but I am a business man. I don’t do charity work.”

“Five hundred credits.”

Remmington moves over and stands behind and off to the side of Niriti. "We are looking for Haza Kris. Though do you have information about them that is worth 500 credits?" He asks.
