"After you, my lord?" Hala said, opening the door for her then proceeded to the apartment listing.
"We're looking for a 'Tweede Enze'" she muttered, tapping through a flickering terminal until she found the name, "He's up on the third floor, room 314"
She traipsed up the requisite number of flights, hissing softly every so often as her right shoulder spasmed or ached, until they reached the landing. She slowed, her boots barely ringing off the fake wood decking meant to make this clearly dilapidated crash pad look fancy. It came off as cheap and tawdry instead.
"310..... 312..... 314....." she said, taking a breath before she knocked.
"Tweede? Tweede Enzo?" she said, knocking on the door, "Tweede, get the kriff out here you bloody mess."
There was a clattering inside but seconds later the door cracked open and a blinky, tired Rodian face emerged through the slit.
"What'd want?" he answered back, his fingers curling around the door slightly to prevent it from being shoved open.
"You're Tweede Enzo?" answered the older woman before her voice lost any warmth in it at all, "I want you..... I want your tapes. The one of that Alderanean girl? You know.... you had to have known.... you must have seen it go up on the cortex? Knew that someone would come to collect them.... give them to me and I can protect you. Someone else, the next person? It did not take me long to find you... It will not take them long either. And they will not ask nicely. They would not even pay you, give you a retainer.... they will probably just give you a blaster burn in the middle of your chest and a footprint on your forehead as they step on your cooling corpse on the way over to get what they want.... all you need to do is hand over the tapes and come with me. I will get the job taken down and we will see you settled.... what do you say? Come quietly, and your life improves."
His buggy, beady little eyes got wider and wider as she spoke.
"No!" he squeaked, "I can't! Hutts kill me if I work for someone else! No, no I can't."
He began muttering and walking back to the door, terrified enough that he forgot to lock it. Hala sighed softly and glanced at the Sith next to her.
"Unfortunate... My lord, would you mind silencing him?"
