(D7 EM Event) The Purge

Description: In response to the attack on the wedding, Malto Brin has teamed up with Orar Varad to systematically wipe out sectors of Shadow Town. Their public goal is to root out the terrorists but it appears that to many it may appear to be murder for its own sake.

Rules: This will start off as a roleplay event. However, it can easily escalate into combat.

As the attack became more obvious, there would be a rather audible whirl of a miniaturized starfighter's engine. HX-S4 would whip around, making sharp turns through the air, as it made other supposedly intimidating maneuvers. The droid's voice modulator would screech out at the angry duo, cutting through the panic of Shadow Town. HX would make certain to keep a good distance back, and mobile, in order to avoid making itself seem like a soft target.

"ATTENTION! YOU ARE COMMITTING ACTS OF TERRORISM, AND ARE IN VIOLATION OF SEVERAL LAWS OF NAR SHADAA! THE BOUNTY FOR ENDING YOUR DISRUPTION IS LIKELY VERY HIGH, OR CAN BE NEGOTIATED AS SUCH! IF YOU DO NOT IMMEDIATELY SURRENDER, YOU SHALL BE STRUCK DOWN BY ADVANCED MILITARY FIREPOWER! LAY DOWN ALL ARMS, OR YOU SHALL BE CONSIDERED AGGRESSORS!

The enforcers and Mandalorians had invaded numerous homes by then, shooting a few and dragging the rest out onto the street. Orar Varad handed his rifle to one of his hunting partners and pulled out his pistol. "Turn it on, you idiot," he said to one of the Hutt Security personnel.

"Su cuy'gar, Crescent Shadow! This is Orar of Clan Varad and this time I am in charge of negotiations." A pause. "I am only after one man, one with the machete. Give him to me and I can stop," he pulled the trigger, executing one of his prisoners, "doing that."

The blaring modulator came in. "Brin, take care of it," the Mandalorian barked.

The security chief nodded and amplified his voice. "We are the Law of Nar Shaddaa. You have no jurisdiction here. You are vastly outnumbered and outgunned. Cease this nonsense and return to your home."

[T'Zann]

T'Zann scowled and ushered the children down the alley. "Go and keep running til you cannot hear any of this. Go. Go!"

These fools, they push the people to the edge and then are surprised when they strike back. "Keep moving."

[HX-S4]

The droid wouldn't bother responding, instead it would lower its flight, moving to face the crowd of murderers, and carefully align its sights on the first of its targets. Keeping as much distance was would be available, the Droid would quickly begin firing on the crowd, darting behind any available cover for the proto-fighter, as lavender light screamed through the air, as the barrel would scream with the high output of a floating turret.

- Action to attack with Light Repeating Blaster (DMG 11 | Crit 3 | Pierce 1, Auto-Fire), targeting generic supporters, forgoing Auto-Fire for this first check.

The ensuing battle resulted in Crescent Shadow forces interfering partway and aligning themselves with Republic forces. The security troopers and Clan Varad mercenaries pulled out of the scuffle to regroup but ultimately another attack was not setup. Mandalorian casualties were limited to wounds while there were numerous dead security troops.

Crescent Shadow insurgents stayed around unless interacted with to help with relief efforts for the survivors of the executions.
