Day 5 EA: To find a duelist

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Lightstabre shield? I honestly don't comprehend, dear." Moyr raised her brows.

[Baesal Zyn]

''It uses the same energy of a lightsaber blade but projects it over an area before you.''

She tried to illustrate it with her hands

''Suberb, work...if I can say so myself''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"You certainly are in no shortage of crystals then." Moyr mused, trying to take her mind off other matters.

[Baesal Zyn]

''SuPerb...'' she continued, putting the accent on the p in the word

''I swear sometimes my tongue gets in the way...well I don't have that much crystals but I can create them''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"You can? Synthesised kyber crystals is something of a Sith house secret, no?" Moyr chewed on her lip.

[Baesal Zyn]

"They think so at least" she replied

"The process is not alien to the Jedi but since they have access to natural crystals no one actually takes time to learn it."

She arched an eyebrow

"Why?"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I am trying to discern how intolerable you defection can become to the Sith. Or whether you even factor that in when planning your actions." Moyr looked at her with some concern.

[Baesal Zyn]

''I was not even out of the acedemy and I had already invented a new type of lightsaber'' she replied

She looked at her drink

''By all accounts its already fairly high and its not going down''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"It can be higher, believe me." Moyr frowned. "Though I feel weird being the one advising caution."

[Baesal Zyn]

She could not help but smile

''I am not planning to make crystals for the entire order, dear''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I envy your technical streak, truth be told, dear." Moyr shrugged. "The more I realise how good equipment makes a difference, the more I'd like to have at least a fraction of your skill."

[Baesal Zyn]

''We all have our talents...can't be good at everything'' she said before a gulp of her beverage

''Is there something you want to be made?''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Built? No. I am acquiring a pistol tomorrow, and would probably want to tweak it a little to make it better than the standard one. I don't have a proper idea how to do it though, aside from maybe getting a scope to it." She poiuted. "But you know, it's a weapon meant to shoot to kill, so it may be against your ethics."

[Baesal Zyn]

She arched an eyebrow

''Tired of your lightsaber?"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Hardly. But I have always had a small penchant for sharpshooting, and the acklay fight has made me aware that charging forth with blazing swords is sometimes not the best option. So I inquired a weapons dealer if there are pistols shooting at long ranges. And there apparently are."

[Baesal Zyn]

"I can certainly see the value in that" she says with a nod

"What did you want to modify on it?"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I don't really know yet. I want a smart-sized weapon that performs at a distance. I will know more when I lay my hands on it tomorrow."

[Baesal Zyn]

"Okay then, buzz me when you have your new toy"

She winked and then looked outside

"Time to go?"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I think so. Let's see if we can stalk down the stalker." She smirked, rising and heading toward the exit.
